I love both shows, both are amazing but have different vibes. Set in the same worlds but one is a story of redemption and the other is a love story between a goetian prince and an imp assassin. God this universe is just so unique and interesting and I hope more comes than just these two shows!
It kinda co fused me how they are both set in the same universe but no one in helluva boss have ever even mentioned the extermination and you'd think it would be a big enough deal to scare some of the characters in helluva boss

I like the end where she said to let people grow. I grew up with this toxic "forgiveness" crap. I don't need to forgive someone. I need to allow them to change rather than think that they will always be a certain way.
The question that needed to be asked and was very intentionally sidestepped: how is it that the RUclips pilot episode was peppered with so many perfect performances yet none of those actors were allowed to keep their established role and get a leg up in their careers? There's nothing negative to say about the Prime cast, it's wall to wall talent and great work done, but with very few exceptions the original cast would have done just as well. Were they even afforded the opportunity to audition?
The only exception that immediately comes to mind is that Keith David's Husk is a huge improvement (sorry to the OG, KD is iconic), not sure if I think Vaggie is an improvement or whether I just love the Rosa Diaz voice and that's colouring how I feel about it

They all had a chance to audition again but the union membership was required. Mick Lauer did side voice(s) as he was listend in credits! (Husk's voice) Also Edward Bosco is still around in Helluva, which is nice.
Others have already covered the union requirement aspect in the replies. But also the original cast had several people who did not do their own singing. Considering the heavy reliance on the musical elements in the show, I imagine having people who can both voice and sing was important. I'll also say that I do think the overall singing talent in the prime show is higher than in the pilot. For example, I personally couldn't envision Angel Dust's original voice being able to sing Poison without significant editing help.

I always felt the same way about the story of Adam & Eve, and the story about Lucifer and Lilith. Being surrounded in a very religious community/area, it was inevitable that I become more familiar with Bible stories. But I’ve always questioned that specific story and have always been interested in it myself. I get the feeling her commentary on that through Hazbin Hotel will definitely offer a perspective I have developed about it also.
What perspective her made up version of how things went thousands of years ago compared to the bible? People will believe the Bible if they can change the stories into what they want that doesn't make any sense. I don't want to judge but I also don't want people to end up in hell thinking it is like this this is like Disneyland compared to the real thing described in the Bible. Luciferdid have ideas and views on how to do things differently that's why God was so loving he didn't just destroy him he actually let him try out his way, even though God knew that it wasn't good. Lucifer is all about hate and evil. He counterfeits everything God creates like lust instead of love and drugs bringing happiness until people find out that they are not real lifelong joy and end up worse off. Lilith is mentioned in the Bible in Isaiah she is a demon that attacks dreams. I just am bummed cuz she is a good artist and creator the songs and characters are very lieable but she doesn't have to take it so far and mock the cross and throw Satan's symbol everywhere those are not things to mess with and as a Christian like she says she should know it is wrong. One of the ten commandments is to not take th lords name in vain she does all the time in this show. I just don't understand where she is going with all that she says she loves the bible and grew up Christian but then does the opposite of what the Bible teaches and actually mocks and offends her own religion and God and Jesus. Its really sad cuz there is a lot besides that to appreciate about this show. Just don't want people to steer in the wrong direction I don't want anyone to go to hell makes me wanna cry 😢

I think your show is wonderful. But i have a potentially pointed question but i dont mean it hatefully. Speaking of actors playing roles why didn't you stick with any of the people who voiced the pilot cast? Or at the very least invite them to the premier party or give them a shout out in the episode credits or something considering they are a part of the reason your show is such a huge hit. You're a beautiful animator and clearly talented. But credit where credit is due, your original voice cast did a fantastic job and helped your show be what it is today
I know that it may be irrelevant but my take away from Bojack Horseman is that some people can't change and don't deserve anything. I hope that change won't be too easy in Hazbin Hotel.

I would say she is self made as it not like her family are big famous name in animation right, so there is no nepotism involved in her getting to this point.

Her parents are layers and could afford to send her to SVA, which most animation students could only dream of, ending in a Summer course in Paris. Her grandparents also chipped in financially to get her to Cali. She then used her fandom to finance her initial pilot and further pushed funds via merchandise. She's had a lot of help and support. I just hope the average Joe doesn't think that they can do all this on their own, because they need support behind them.
She has this cool idea of hell and i cant blame her. The show takes a really cool perspective and if you are obsessed with heaven it sounds like you need a therapist
