    Beautiful! How long do you let the clear resin set before adding resin for flowers?

    Hi! These are beautiful! As a fellow resin stand maker I have to know, how do you make it so your tiers don’t bend? Mine end up bending so easily even when dry and in a similar mold 😭

    • @SummerGirlDesigns
      @SummerGirlDesigns  3 года назад +2

      Hi, thank you! If your resin is bendy that could mean that it hasn’t been mixed properly. Each resin is different but in general should be mixed for around 3 - 5 minutes and until you can no longer see what looks like streaks in the resin. If mixing isn’t the problem then it might be because the resin hasn’t fully cured yet, but after a few days it should be hardened enough that it won’t bend

    Is white pigment resin is mixed with resin or it's only white pigment coz my resin is very liquidy not thick consistent

    • @SummerGirlDesigns
      @SummerGirlDesigns  3 года назад +1

      The white pigment is mixed with the resin, so you are pouring white pigmented resin. I recommended waiting until the resin thickens a bit before pouring

    I don’t understand the latex layer? What type of latex?

    • @SummerGirlDesigns
      @SummerGirlDesigns  3 года назад

      It’s liquid latex, it’s used to protect the back edges of the resin piece so that if any resin flows off during the topcoat it will cure on the latex and easily peel off with it

  • @aronparijs7167
    @aronparijs7167 2 года назад

    It's beautiful. I only don't understand where the latex is coming from that your mom is peeling of. No clue

    • @SummerGirlDesigns
      @SummerGirlDesigns  2 года назад

      Thank you! We use liquid latex to protect the bottom while we are working out of the mold. I show it in some of my other videos like this one ruclips.net/video/5-VBL4k24ho/видео.html

    I always find it funny how people use French to make things sound more classy. Étagères just literally means "shelves", in the most banal way lol

      Well she’s Croatian and their language is peppered with some French. I’m Vietnamese and we use a lot of French words in our vocabulary. This is such a rude comment
