Welcome! right?? that's a huge part of why I cast these games, some of the talent in AoE 4's top 100 is CRAZY good, and the difference between 100th and top 5 is actually pretty small in my opinion, and these players deserve more recognition! thanks for watchin my dude!
I honestly thought the HRE player would run out of steam at the beginning. 4 barracks requires a LOT of resources to keep running. The destroyed value of the Byz player was also much higher throughout the game. Ultimately, I think the villager deficit was what won the game for HRE in the end (he had 20+ worker kills and there was a ~20 vill eco gap in the last third of the game)
spot on! consistent aggression thru raids is SO effective during the course of the game, especially if you can micro to maintain multiple raids at once. I'm also seeing the HRE meta switch to early aggro (typically with spearmen) to contest opponent gold, or wood, or whatever is most exposed early on! So with that said, I think HRE nerfs are on the way eventually. Thanks for watching!!
4:50 the cistern are op AF, it's not just about olive oil, it boosts the gathering rate by the water level
interesting! yeah I've tried Byz a couple times now, I like the over all concept, especially in late feudal where u can start printing military units!
new to aoe4 and rts in general cant help but be amazed by gameplay. wish i had that control
