love how Johnny said his wife was 'delighted' with Davy Russell's dancing 'for a fella who didnt have much experience' analysing him like a novice hurdler running at Mallow 😂
@@georgegoodenough823 Killiney was the archetypal ‘Sky is the limit’ novice chaser. I was a big fan of Fred Winter in the late 60s into the 70s, followed all his great horses. Happy times.
Great show lads really enjoy the show. The three who could of achieved alot if not for death/ injury are GLORIA VICTIS ( see him win at Kempton) - MIGHTY MOGUL- CAROBEE ( a real talent won a Aintree hurdle.) Can remember Dave first mentoning Ballyburn did you ever back him Dave.?
About the Ryanair and mentioning Edwardstone's rivals. No mention of Envoi Allen who's got a great record at Cheltenham and is the current champion. Surely you've overlooked him?
Johnny I love ya, but what are you on about with laying, sure the 25/1 shot might be 40 to lay on betfair for a start. Plus is it not easier to see an 4/6 shot who should be 6/4 than the 20/1 shot who should be 33/1? (60% to 40% chance compared with a 5% chance that should be 3%)
Ballyburn was boosted to 14/1 for an hour or 2 this evening. Pretty sure they would have taken quite a hit on him so took the boost down about 20 minutes ago
For the injury’s question Espoir dallen Vautour Sprinter sacre. Sprinter already achieved greatness but if he went injury free he’d have been unbeaten over fences throughout his career.
Was great to see scarface finally win a chase on Sunday 😊 actually i thought that Plumpton card was really quite good! ( i was on afew winners that day so that helped!)
Btw jonny ballyburn isnt 14s for the supreme its 11/2! I noticed it was cut from around 12s - 15/2 around the time this video was released but 11/2 is ridiculous ( ive got 20s on jeriko de reponet so im not too fussed) i guess b365 cut it massively or has mullins said something? Seems a crazy move tbh
It was cut that morning and kept dropping. To be honest this video selection was a coincidence and nothing to do with the slash in price. I'd say Ile Atlantique running in the Lawlors of Naas would suggest they have their BM horse so BB to the Supreme makes sense as Willie has no main contender for it.
If sizing Europe didn’t injure himself between 2nd and last hurdle in champion hurdle he would have been a champion hurdle, arkle and champion chase winner. He was all over them on the bridle
Vautour and Our Conor would both have to be included in that list for me, Vautour would have gone on to be considered one of the all time greats and Our Conor in a golden age of hurdlers would’ve been right amongst them.
Can i just say allaho that couldn't get to the front in KG that Townend didn't want to get to the front, all roads lead to Ryanair the only holy grail for WPM is cheltenham, thank me later
I haven't bothered with any of these this season, but was alerted to the completety illogical Ballyburn tip. I hate this kind of thing where someone misses the boat on the obvious race, and puts it for another just because it is a much bigger price. It seems a load of lemmings have followed suit. Bookmakers must love it. The argument is threadbare. It relies on Mullins being stupid enough to go down the pack shuffling route. Ballyburn is the best novice in the yard. As such he is one the team should be built around, and should go for the race that suits him best. Shunt the others in different directions, but not your best horse. One look at the pedigree should suggest he should never have run over two miles once. It was no surprise he was outpaced by Firefox. The idea that he is/was some sort of free wheeling maniac has been confirmed as nonsense. Mullins just made a mistake running him over the minimum. At Leopardstown the further he went the better he went, and in time three miles shouldn't be an issue. He is a stayer with a change of pace. He shouldn't really have been beaten this season, but providing nobody that matters listens to this advice he should win the Ballymore, and remain unbeaten for the rest of the season. As regards a race before the Ballymore surely there is a 2m4f race in Ireland before then? Johnny comes across as a fun guy, but as an actual pundit, it's a different story.
Yet Ruby Walsh is adamant Ballyburn should run in the Supreme as he'll have the stamina to get home at a frantic pace. It's clear Willie has no real main Supreme horse this year but for the Ballymore, Ile Atlantique seems to be the main one given the Paul T ride in the Lawlors of Naas tomorrow. Vautour ran in a Supreme and he was more an Intermediate horse. Sir Gerhard was campaigned over 2m all season and went Ballymore. It's Willie Bingo though so who knows.
Jenning tip for tomorrow is edwardstone be sure to steer clear guy could not tell the differance between a horse and a fox .listen to the pish he is talking about edwardstone .thinks he is being clever when its rubbish

Lol!😂😂😂What a show .Absolutely brilliant from both.
Espoir D’allen. Hammered his rivals in his last race. Champion hurdle 2019
And he was only 5

Will come on for the run 😂😂
Was just thinking the same thing 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
What about Espoir D’Alene, Vautour, Our Connor?
two horses that would have gone on to greatness - Spirit Son, Our Conor.
Spirit Son will always be the answer for me
Agree with first one
@@jrussell06you never saw Monsignor !

Brilliant show guys, very funny
How did Douvan not make that list?
Jeez that story of Johnny and being asked to clean the pot ... best laugh of the week. 😂
1. Killiney
2. Golden Cygnet
3. The Proclamation
I was thinking that nobody else remembered Killiney. I was watching his final race on a black andcwhite telly.

Without doubt - Golden Cygnet.

Greatest horse who was finished by injury/death surely has to be Golden Cygnet I realise it was a long time ago but!
Fantastic horse..If only..?

Absolutely golden cygnet Edward o gradys
Absolutely golden cygnet Edward o gradys best horse had some of the best hurdles ever seen off the bridle when he was killed trained by a master 😊
Nice man to Edward o grady often met him at Limerick races chat away to you no problem a gentleman 😉
Say what you want about Johnny but he cracks me up great crack
Brilliant entertainer. Not sure of him as a tipster. But that's alright ... entertainment is worth way more!
Question for the show!
There is a few horses 2/1 or less for the festival, can ye rate them on a scale of 1 to 10 on there likelihood of winning
Ballyburn was boosted to 14/1 for an hour or 2 this evening. Pretty sure they would have taken quite a hit on him so took the boost down about 20 minutes ago
For the injury’s question
Espoir dallen
Vautour
Sprinter sacre.
Sprinter already achieved greatness but if he went injury free he’d have been unbeaten over fences throughout his career.
Cruising altitude, O Sherwood ,beat Morley Street easily one day could have been one of the best ever
My 2 horse that would off been great was Darlan and Our Connor.
Loved them both I think darlan was nails on to be a multiple champion hurdle winner.
Yeah Darlan was fantastic and so sad how he died. Our Connor was brilliant winning Triumph
And could have gone on to win a Gold Cup.....
A mate of mine lays odds on favs the last one he laid was 1/5 on the all weather that came second.
Best way to do it . Don't lay anything shorter than evens

Evening everyone
The horse those career and life was sadly and drastically reduced who I thought was destined for great things was French Holly!
Agree
Ballyburn was 15/2 today at around 3.30pm when I checked. Saying it's a tip at 14/1 when the price isn't anywhere available is a joke.
It's been boosted 14-1 . I've just had a few quid on at that price
I Think I Can Smell Shite, Yes I Can Definitely Smell Shite!
Yeah, of course you did!
I had £20 on at boosted 14/1 at 17:00
