I believe the subdued color scheme is because of the scene that the permet score 6 appeared. During the fight against Grassley, the arena is a lot grayer and dark.
that's what I was thinking too, this looks more accurate to that scene than the standard version. and it's 100% accurate because I'm pretty sure that scene is the only time Suletta brings the permet score that high before Prospera breaks out the rebuild

The duller color parts makes up to the shine or reflectiveness of the clear, bright parts to make it more radiant to light. It's a nice contrast. 😊😊 Mecha, try watch Itamitech with his Aerial glowing shell unit custom with a blacklight. It's epic!
What I found interesting about the kit in general is that ALL of the plastics are pearlescent or some degree of shiny, but because the colors are muted, you don't notice it unless the light catches them in a very particular way. It gives the whole thing a very interesting look.
The muted colours of the P6 Aerial go so much better with the bright red of the original, especially if you go with red eyes 👀 If i had both, id swap the frame and the permet parts into the OG Aerial, and the red parts/duller body frame with the P6 armor. This kit definitely should've had more add ons in it to justify its release
I ended up buying the 30mm hand parts set and use the open hands there for the regular Aerial. They're a little bit big on Aerial, but they do the job.
pbandai legit makes me wanna drop the hobby sometimes, it’s so depressing finding a cool kit i want and realizing it either: is only gonna get a rerun maybe once, or never gets a rerun and i’ll have to spend extra on a markup

I have to disagree with the shell units not popping much, you can see it both in the review and in person that on the standard aerial the shell units on the legs just go invisible while not under direct light, one of the reasons I'll always prefer the rebuild over the standard aerial because they don't do that and in turn pop much more
Aside from what you said, Mecha missed the stickers having 2 permet 6 shells (you can see it with the shoulder sticker ones in 2:23). The one he used is the duller just blue one (replacing the deactive in the standard HG), instead of the blue with the white/silver accents (replacing the red permet in the standard).
One is it will be a little bit time-consuming to make the damage armor may a while to do for those who didn’t know band. I always have to tweak the design little by little what mean by that is hand tweak ?! - bandai don’t waste material like metal to make a damage small armor part for no reason ?!

Genius idea: mix and match the white parts between the two Aerials to create a more "real grade" look

That's a very.. interesting color for the yellow. A shade of greenish or blue yellow that I can honestly say I've never seen before on a model
