How to get Custom RFPs from hundreds of sellers using Ofofo?

    Are you busy building your product and company and in mid of that you realise the need of getting the penetration testing done for your product.
    You search the internet and find numerous vendors providing you this service. You are overwhelmed with the ads of vendors asking you to fill a form to get quotation.
    It is repetitive effort to fill quotation form for different vendors for the same problem and requirements you need to solve.
    Also, it is cumbersome to find the authenticity of the vendors. And it takes around 3-4 months to finalise a vendor.
    However, with Ofofo you just need to fill single request form and your requirements are floated to all the relevant sellers present across 37 countries.
    We do our due diligence before onboarding any seller on the platform, so you don’t have to worry about the authenticity of the sellers.
    You can also directly chat with the sellers, compare their proposals, shortlist various proposals to help you in making an informed decision and shortening your purchase cycle to 24 hrs.
    All you need to do is register on Ofofo platform we have life time free buyer account and our platform usage cost is absorbed by our sellers.
    Then you can create a custom request for requirement.
    Let us see how to do this step by step:
    1. First you need to sign to your ofofo account through Ofofo.io
    2. Click on sign at the top right corner
    3. This will take you to the sign page.
    4. Enter your email id and password and click on login
    5. If you are new to Ofofo then you can go to Register now at the bottom of the screen
    6. This will take you to the registration page. There you can fill the details like Full name, Email Id and Password and click on Register.
    Once you have logged in to your Buyer Dashboard. On the left panel you can find the Get Custom quote, click on it .A form will open where you can create the Custom request for proposal or RFP.
    Imagine you are product company with frequent product releases, you have a web applications and a Cloud account. You want to have penetration testing done for your product. Lets fill the form based on the requirements.In the first field you can mention the product and services required. In this case we will write Penetration testing for the product. Next describe your requestHere you can mention your requirements like in this case I will write:
    Need Penetration test for a product with frequent release. Having a single web application with 20 web pages and an Aws cloud account. Next enter the max budget 2000 and the pricing model you are looking for like fixed cost or subscriptions.You can also add custom pricing model. For eg some customers want billing to be per hour or per host
    In the features and Deliverables fields use comma or enter to add the text as tag.Lets add the Feature tags. In this case we will add Black Box testing, gray box testing, mobile application penetration testing, Web application penetration testing enter
    Next add the deliverables like Test cases, Reports, Remediation steps. Enter the date when RFP will close. This is the date after which you will stop receiving proposals.Next Mention the tentative start date of the project . Finally click on save to submit the proposal request. Once the proposal is submitted it is sent to all the sellers on the platform.
    You can view the proposal request from the RFP section of the buyer dashboard.
    In this section you will find all the details about RFP like the RFP name status etc.
    Click on view RFP in the actions column. Here you will find the details of the RFP on the left side and proposals you have received on the right side.
    Go to a particular proposal and click. You will get the proposal details like name, category pricing, type, Features etc.
    If you have received multiple proposals from different sellers. You can shortlist the proposal that you are interested in and decline the ones which are not relevant to your requirement.
    You can also directly approve the proposal from the right panel.
    If you are still not sure of the details provided in the proposal by the seller then you can also directly chat with the seller to get more information.
    Once you have approved a proposal you can directly purchase it from the platform.
