This has to be THE BEST interview with Miss Dominique. I can NOW understand why she breaks down EVERY time she tells Tooka's story. She tried to save her son so many times. Unfortunately, she couldn't help him on this particular day. This interview let us know that she wanted the BEST for her son...her children. She didn't condone of any gang related activities whether TOOKA was involved or not.
This was so heartbreaking to watch I respect her so much ❤I have a 12 year old son and I understand how much protection and love they need growing up out here im so sorry for your loss stay strong 💯❤️
I can only imagine the pain she went through and continues to go through because just like most parents, she had no idea what her son was doing in the streets. Parents can be really naïve because it's hard to believe that he wasn't active or affiliated based on the people he was hanging with. Even in her own words, she's alluding to the fact that he was involved in some capacity because he was kicked out of school, she was getting him a mentor, dudes talking shit to him and trying to fight him. There's no way he wasn't active or affiliated. Especially since he has been getting dissed for a decade.
My only question is these teens are running the streets overnight. 1,2,3 am. Maybe they went out after their parents slept. They did not know what their children were up to. He got kicked out of school. I have a 15 year old planning a sweet 16, I do feel for her. Real tragedy all around.

His affiliations were his choice, mother is in serious denial. I do pray she receives peace on earth. He was vicious with his hands but a lot of these teens are punks and rather shoot. My point is he was forced to participate in certain illegal activities in the streets bc of the company he kept. He wasn’t on papers bc his crimes were not verifiable. 😢I see a lot of maiming and death, most of it is caused by 9-16yrs. There’s a 9 yr old kid that I interviewed for murdering a grown man over a damn card game. He’s is already gone, his eyes are dark, no remorse, had no record, he is a product of his environment, which is terrifying unfortunately. He understands life and death he just don’t gaf bc in his words no one gaf about him. More proper parenting is needed, men need to be involved in their children’s lives and women need to be held accountable as well. The more positive activities a child participates in, more love shown is gives him a chance to live a productive life.
Tooka wasnt active, he was just friends bruh... Maybe he smoked some kush or some but i feel like thats about it. I know that wouldn't help her much because her son is still gone and they need to stop saying his name. The disrespect has to stop. This is his mama. @@justinwatts8997 that could be so, but he gone now. For years at that. That don't have anything to do with his mama now. They need to let her grieve her son properly.

Tooka wasnt in the streets, they from Lowend and i think they got into it with STL dudes at first. He was hanging around, but not active. I would hang around them too if that was the only other teens in my city, dont no one wanna be the outsider🤣

As a complete outsider my heart breaks for all of these mothers because no matter what they carried each of those young men and young women that have died in this war inside them for however months then gave birth to them, loved them & cared for them so their grief is on a whole other level.
Sometimes a mother don’t know. She know she did her best. But some parents really don’t know what’s going on. If she only knew how much she could of sued the radio along with Chief Keef and any other artist who mentioned his name in a disrespectful way simply for trauma and grievances..
Watching this as a mother I lost it 🙏🏻 prayers to her, her family and all
Of Chicago. When she said there’s no remorse and how her generation had structure hit different
You can literally see her praying for the strength...nothing but prayers for this woman.
This is a powerful interview. Thank you for your time. And showing and telling us this.

Well seeing how his real name isn’t tooka they really don’t
Keeping you in my prayers M’am. This is nothing to joke about, really brought tears to my eyes, watching you express your pain. ❤️
I’m not blaming this mother but sometimes you gotta say fuck I’ll pick up and leave everything behind idc if I’m going to a shelter but we leaving this kinda of neighborhood idk if I gotta ride a bus to another state me and my kids gone cause it’s too much this type of hood you can’t escape
I enjoyed this interview. She seems to be such a nice person. It made me sad listening to what happened prior to him being taken, as well as afterwards. She’s so strong and admirable.
I'm feeling for this woman on a whole other level. I already felt a form of empathy and sympathy for her as a son of a mother who always worries about every day. I totally agree that they stop using his name.
Stay strong momma! So sad. How genuine she is. Her son died in 2011 and he still can’t Rest In Peace. How crazy this is because all these kids grew up together, went to the same schools. And killing each other and laughing about it. The pain is real . None of them have lived over 30. Dead or in jail. The streets that bad. I would move my family or send my child to another state with family. She wants to believe her son was and good boy! My mother didn’t kno everything I was into. And these kids are living and fast life ,haveing to grow up fast because of the environment
And that’s fucked up cuz I see how it changed us and I’m only 23. Our whole neighborhood got wiped out. Not just my block but MOB JARO CITY TW SQUIRT TOWN OBLOCK FRONTSTREET STL EBT. All of em shordies. I alwayed asked myself how did we get to the point where our OPPs is down the street or our so called OPPs. It’s sad man cuz when I ask my grandma about how Chicago was and the black community in general was. She seems like she started getting sad explaining how close and how very put together our community was. They shouldnt of destroy our community and we shouldn’t have let them and it seems like we too far gone to even think logically🤦🏽♂️ sad man I pray not only for my ppl back in Chicago but our community as a whole
Powerful ❤Best interview so far to me 🙏
Sending her so much love n light ✨️ literally hugging her through the screen man this pain is somthing different 💔
Tooka mom got such a positive aura around her. I'm so sorry that she went through all that.
He wasn't on paper, so he couldn't have been too active. If u activevu usually have some contact with police.
@@macamo9991 I’m a Illinois investigator, I can tell you that’s Bullshyt. FBG Duck had no verifiable record either. May he rest in peace now but he was a part of FBG crew.
I never heard him robbing or shooting someone and someone this famous in chicago always got some info out there or word out there. Hes hated cuz they fw him so much not cuz hes a gangster
This was needed… blessings to Ms. Dominique.. she is clearly in pain. Like many other mothers in Chicago. Y’all be safe. 🕊🙏🏽
Say Cheese. This is a brilliant interview man. Respect!
I can not stop crying. So sad. These young people are not thinking about the mothers that are left behind to deal with all this hurt. RIP Tooka
Crazy when you see stuff from the Moms perspective 💔💯
This interview hit different😭. Prayers to her💗 prayers to all the single mothers that have to play both parts that plays a big part on why most those boys grow and up and end up in the streets.
♥️💌
This is so sad. You can tell that she is still deeply hurt about what happened, as she should be. I think everybody need to apologize to this woman. I know that wouldn't help her much because her son is still gone and they need to stop saying his name. The disrespect has to stop. This is his mama. She can't properly grieve due to his name being brought up in disrespectful ways. This interview was sad and anyone who continues to glorify the disrespect is apart of the problem Period. RIP Tooka 🙏
her son was probably disrespectful
@@justinwatts8997 that could be so, but he gone now. For years at that. That don't have anything to do with his mama now. They need to let her grieve her son properly.

Yo. Say Cheese! Charleston White brought me here! Thank you for doing this interview. Got damn my heart hurts for our sister.
Hearing the pain in her force is heartbreaking. I hope for nothing but the best for her and all the mommas in similar situations
Man, I feel for this woman. Bc she may not have really known if he was involved in street shit or not. But the pain that is caused from street shit is overwhelming to the mothers who may not even know wtf is going on. You can literally see and hear her pain.
Tooka wasnt in the streets, they from Lowend and i think they got into it with STL dudes at first. He was hanging around, but not active. I would hang around them too if that was the only other teens in my city, dont no one wanna be the outsider🤣
💔 no mother, none of the mothers deserved this pain from either side. As a complete outsider my heart breaks for all of these mothers because no matter what they carried each of those young men and young women that have died in this war inside them for however months then gave birth to them, loved them & cared for them so their grief is on a whole other level.
My heart feels like it can literally break for her. You can hear the anguish in her voice.
Losing a kid at a young age is never easy.
At any age is never easy, doesn’t matter how old you are
Speaking for myself I can agree to an extent
Sometimes a mother don’t know. She know she did her best. But some parents really don’t know what’s going on. A lot of parents are really strict and that’s why the kids begin to be sneaky and seek fun because their “bored” I wish her nothing but peace. But her heart is still broken, I can hear it. Prayers for u lady ❤️
Well said ❤️

How can these people be territorial but not own any land? It's sad and ignorant 😪
Facts!
@@aliboom3244 thats the point how you claim something you don't own. Why are defending something you don't own or have the brains to? Own it! You can rightfully protect what you own. Then turn around mad at the white man. Like she said sad and ignorant. I guarantee if the effort was put in to put your name of it ain't no way in hell the streets would be shot up. It's ridiculous. Then look up to these ppl and they never come back to take care of you.
The statements not meant as an insult it should be inspirational.

I lost my son 2 years ago. I feel her pain. But trying to keep a good name for him being in denial about his actions when alive hurts us more than we know as a parent. I'm sorry for her. For myself. But our sons did things. They wouldn't listen to us. The streets took them from us both two times. I pray she finds peace. Me. I'm taking day 4 day cause I know I did my best. But ... my sons actions took him from me. God saved him. Saved me. Idk what from I just know.
Yes to this! I feel the exact same way. Her making it seem like he was an innocent child just trying to go to school. He was clearly into something. We have no idea what our children are into when they leave the house. Everywhere he went they were trying to fight him? That was for a reason. I’m so sorry for your loss as well mama ❤️🙏🏾
God Bless you. Sorry for your loss hun

There’s a part when she’s talking about back in the day when everyone could discipline a child when they were doing something wrong but she also said her boyfriend felt she allowed her kids to say anything, people get defensive when it comes to there kids, women should definitely really consider the man point of view in those instances because the man will recognize things in another man/boy that a woman may miss and vise versa with girls
i mean he was 15
@@beankobe8205 exactly he’s 15 and doesn’t know shit, when a (real)man is present a child should show some respect and listen because a lot men use the woman for whatever purpose and don’t give af about the kid’s, if he speaks up it’s out of concern
