I am currently designing a sixman Outrigger canoe and want to know which way would be the best to model it so that it can be CnCd out. I have 2d polys in plan and elevation with profiles at 300mm centres. What is your thoughts? any help would be greatly appreciated
hi, another way for the ramp, could be to use a round wall. set the width of the wall to your needs and edit the height on both ends. later convert to nurbs. this is much faster.
Yes, that's a good trick and you can use the Extract tool to grab curves or surfaces form the wall. The intent of the video is to show a practical application for NURBS rather than to solve a specific problem.
