Lolo Did It 2018 Helping hippos- fingering weight
I used size 3/3.25 mm knitting needles.
I used a pinhole cast on.
I made mine an adult large. Knit until 160 stitches on the needles.

Used 64 stitch cast on and made shorties
Size 2.75 DPN needles used
2X2 rib for 19 rows
7 rows of knit, then put in the waste yarn for the heels
Used Opal Sweet and Spicy 3 in the Safran Colorway 9121

I used regular cotton fabrics and one lightweight fusible interfacing on the brim ironed on to the strawberry fabric only.
I made and Adult Large.
This was an easy pattern that took about 3 hours to sew, cutting not included.

Hello, I always find interesting how it is possible that after my 3 years of permanently watching knitting podcast - I still find new to me channel. You are having many episodes and you are well established on RUclips and only today for the first time your channel was showing out on my side. I must say I m very happy to meet you and to see what you are creating. I never knit the Musselburgh hat but utter seeing how you used sock striping yarn on it I think I will knit it soon.

I love all of your projects. I’ve never done an afterthought heel, I think I’m afraid! I stick to the heel flap and gusset. I really like your vinyl bags, too. Where did you order your supplies from? Hi Cindi, You should think about trying an afterthought heel it’s pretty easy. I am loving the vinyl bags too. I got the supplies from different places. The vinyl came from my punk embroidery. I also found some on Etsy too. The video tutorial has more links of where you can purchase specific products you are looking for. You can get zipper tape and zipper pulls on Etsy and Amazon.
