I just bought the 3D files for Fatboy (and i gotta say, great detail) and the files are in the scale of 1/87 but i want to 3d print the mecha in the 1/35 scale, how much should I upscale the size of the parts? Im using Cura where I can upscale models uniformely
Ideally at the scale they come at, which is 1/35. If the joints don't fit, you'll have to adjust your print's layer exposure times. Exposure times vary depending on which resin or resin mix you use. If you want the perfect resin, I can recommend Resione M58. Check out my latest video for a test, settings and print results with M58
I want to buy every model from the site but I don’t have the means to 3D print anything :( hope printed copies become available sooner rather than later
I would recommend any of yor preferred resin 80 parts mixed with SirayaTech Tenacious 20 parts for a 80/20 ratio. Or you can also use SirayaTech Blu mixed with Tenacious, also 80/20 ratio. One resin that works perfectly on it's own is Formlabs Tough1500. Also it is recommended to assemble the parts after washing and drying, but before curing with UV light. That way the resin parts usually have more flexibility and assembly is easier.
Many customers have had the best results with the Siraya Tech resins, like siraya tech blue. I use a Formlabs printer and their resins, but not many hobbyists are using Formlabs yet.
Can't tell at this point unfortunately. I was planning a new Kickstarter, but prices skyrocketed (factory manufacturing, shipping, etc.). I'm currently evaluating other options besides Kickstarter. It'll take some time, but I hope to come up with a feasible way of producing the toys.
We currently can only sell 3D print files, but still working on making them available pre-printed as model kits. Updates will follow as soon as we can show something
There are 2 blinking LEDs in the lighting compartment, cables routed through an opening in the top chassis to the inside, wired in a series circuit. The batteries (4x LR66 1.5V button cells) sit in side the back of the chassis, behind the pilot seat and next to the motorcycle compartment (2 on each side). The button cells are connected to the circuit by adhesive copper band, going around the outside and inside of the motorcycle compartment walls. The circuit is interrupted at the bottom of the motorcycle compartment and connected by the copper strip added to the bike, when you insert the bike. It would be a more elegant solution though, to drill a hole in to the motorcycle and fill it with a copper wire to close the circuit, once it's put into place. Here's the LED set I used: www.ebay.de/itm/333942800400?hash=item4dc08ac010:g:6XkAAOSwaZdeOa5X I left out the resistors though, because of limited space, and instead directly connected the blinking LEDs to the button cells.
The Pocket mechs are available as 3D print files in the shop (teccotoys.com) if you own a 3D printer. For the 1/35 scale manufactured toys, I'm currently evaluating options to produce them, other than Kickstarter/Crowdfunding. The costs for manufacturing/shipping, etc. have gone up significantly during the pandemic, and crowdfunding with Kickstarter involves too many fees, so it's currently not feasible.
That's really neat, I wish more action figures had lights
Can't wait to buy these figures!
Love this!
Just awsome micheal. Wow is all I can say.

that's easy, 87/35=2,486. So if you scale the parts up by factor 2,486 or 248,6 % you'll get the 1/35 scale.
@@teccotoys Bro come back to youtube pls
do you still have the kickstarter models? I would like to buy the stl
I only see pocket mechs on the site are you no longer doing the full size mechs?
the full size mech print files are coming to the store end of September

Hello, I just bought and printed one of your models today. I used water washable resin, what resin do you recommend?

Do you think these toys will ever be sold in stores? Or will they always be 3d print files to buy
