      @@camilosanchez831 perish is a hard word before someone who is supposed to embody light. the only true save imo is accepting both the light and the dark, balancing it to not make the two conflicted to one another to avoid damage.
      think of it as a war, you dont want it to happen

      not really, his best elo ranking was around 2500, which is faaar to low compared to other grandmasters who are the real beasts
      if 2500 is alone is a "beast" for u, then people like magnus carlsen should be equivalent of god

    9:37 why couldnt the bishop just take the pawn at e7 to which an appropriate response would be the rook takes the bishop, then as it's a check and threatning the queen, the queen takes the rook removes the check and attacks the queen. A trade is a very likely senario and if so, black has the upper hand with two rooks and a bishop whereas white only has a rook and a bishop

    Is there any such thing as an “honorary” grandmaster title in chess, like an honorary Ph.D? I would love to see Mr. Tate be given an honorary grandmaster title, given how skilled he was and the number of grandmasters he bested. Just a thought?

    IM Emory Tate's unpredictable, fearless attacking style is the reason why most GMs will try to avoid him where the odds of winning him are always 50/50 he never read any chess improvement books and hates / did not like playing or consulting computer moves but he beats 80+ GM's in his chess career. This is what Andrew said about his father "I never saw him study chess books, ever. He also hated chess computers and never used them. He just sat down and played."
