Doc getting excited over his tomatoes, irl and in game, is pure gold Also, I still think the world eater should be preserved. Even if it's just a chunk Also also, are you going to replace the scaffolding on the diamond pillar?
I agree, I'd love to see the world eater remain there, or at least the half opposite his base since the side his base is on might ruin the aesthetic he's going for.
I watched Joe playing with this mod last night and it was amazing to see just how much you can see with it, the lag was real though. From the top of XB's game you can see just how close everyone is too, not something you can really tell before in the vids. Especially the mega builds around Joe's pinball game and the perimeter it didn't come together how close the builds really are.
For the wall opposite the Hall of Goat, in addition to doing the glass cutoff, you could have big, visible roots coming down from the tree. I don't think it'd compromise the terrain much, but it'd majorly add to the scale of the tree.
@@Quaggz If my memory serves me right it was also the same time, so I was wowed. I've never really check the time when doc upload until recently, so I was quite suprice.
When the music dropped for the 1st Hall of GOAT timeplapse, straight got goosebumbs invisioning the world eater running, you madlad doc! amazing season so far buddy!
The Hall of GOAT is giving me Ancient Babylon Internatuonal Airport vibes. Maybe for back portions some walls made of various brick, tile, and chiseled type blocks creating simple images of Minecraft mobs, like brick pixel art.
I really can’t say enough how much I like the build style you’re going for this season. I love the idea of these eco friendly buildings and I love that they’re not really based off of traditional architecture. Love the use of geometrical lines combined with the more natural elements into it. It’s so unique, I just really love the look of it! ❤️❤️❤️
I can not put it into words how amazing it is that you found that mod that extends your view distance... I hope you keep this for the rest of the season, it really ties up the builds and gives a very very very nice overview... Love the work so far Doc, reminds me of the old sandstone perimiter, speaking of which we are almost coming up on your 10 year anniversary. I cant belive its been 10 years already. Watched you since the begining. :D
bee's have a pathfinding issue when in regard to water blocks this is a known issue that has not been patched yet, supposedly they have a fix for it coming in the next update. It's not considered high priority since it only really happens in River biomes that aren't read as river biomes. It could be the river in spawn that is presenting the issue with you're missing bees as well as hermit boats lol. But ya there is still a few bee bugs for the devs to iron out.
For the floor pattern it could be cool to do circuitry emanating from the farms and maybe using a light block for it? That way it can adapt the pattern around the placement of farms and the area has a decent light level. It is a huge area though which may not be worth the work for the effect.
That is the coolest Argyle pattern Doc! I love how you are interpreting it into architecture. And 60 tomato plants in real life?!! You are truly a mad lad! 😆 I assume you can them as well, because holy wow 😳 that's a LOT of tomatoes! I have a dozen plants and I can hardly keep up! 😂 On the other hand, that little tomato area in your base is perfection. I adore it. It will have to make an appearance in my Minecraft veggie garden. Thank you for sharing and all your delightful inspiration! 💜
a cool idea for the flooring of the perimeter could be something like a circuit board design, that connects the diffrent farms ... maybe even encorperating the nature-steampunk vibe somehow. For the diamond challenge you could sneakily build to bedrock and cover it up with a few grasslocks.... then when someone finishes their tower us say "i thought it needs to go all the way"
You can make the floor look like a giant whirlpool or black hole slowly sucking your farms in you can make a trail on the opposite side of the build from the hole to make it look like it’s moving and then remove a circular hole of bedrock in the middle where your drowned farm will be and make that build look like some eco style observation station researching the black hole eating the world
I think it would look amazing if you destroyed all the bedrock then had a layer of the amethyst dark glass for a layer and you could see the void below.
Destroy *all* the bedrock? In the entire perimeter? Doc does some crazy stuff, but that would be an near-undoable grind. Like he says in the episode, you have to consider that any idea for a floor in the perimeter is on a massive scale
@@rivermichael4357 It would be a lot of work (and I understand if Doc isn't up for that kind of time commitment just to make a void perimeter) but it's doable. Scicraft has made void perimeters, including a giant one for playing Skyblock on their survival world. There are automated machines for large-scale bedrock removal. Doc said he might remove bedrock from a large section of the perimeter as a demo of the technology.
You know it's sometimes hard to find time to watch a full Doc video, but they're so worth it. The music gets me bleating and beatboxing along every time, the projects are always awesome, and the energy and joy is always contagious.
For the diamon tower: - build the under ground part without showing it to anybody down to bedrock - build a flining machin far out aimed to your tower to push in more blocks
Sticking with the Egyptian theme, i think it would be a cool idea for one of the perimeter walls to be pixel art of the story of doc. Killing dinnerbone, losing the arm, the order of octa etc. All in the style of ancient Egyptian art

Its going to look so cool with your, scars, grians and mumbos all megabuilds rendered simultaneously
Whenever you cover the walls of the perimeter, can you leave holes where it intersects a geode to like show off Minecraft's natural purple crystals?
Doc after seeing what grian did to his pillar: “They messed with the wrong man”
Listen Grian. Nobody touches my pillar. You're done.
It all started when Grian touched my diamonds...
@@pouyopouyo9817 when you mess with a german, you get TOTAL WAR!,

the hall of goat makes me think of a massive space cathedral like id almost expect to hear pipe organs and see some laser beams shoot into the sky
Yeah, made me think of doc's version of the 'sagrada familia' . Dali was just as mad and genius as doc!
An idea: Build your pillar going into the ground down to bedrock, and have a decorative nether portal at the bottom of it. Then build another diamond pillar in the same location in the nether as if it is trans dimensional.
this is brilliant
Yes!
Omg

I think his ores won't be enough though...
My favorite part of the perimeter is the sheer drop off of the edges, and the exposed caves.
Even though it’s a big idea and you’ll probably have to run a huge hermits helping hermits but I think breaking all the bedrock down there would be phenomenal! Just imagine the sheer hard work and insanity it will show!
Doc you madman every hermit has mentioned or showed off your perimeter I know it's been mentioned already in the comments but I have to also say it. Also the fan art once again is fantastic your fans are some of the most dedicated of the hermits and I'm happy to be one of them can't wait to see what the future holds
Doc there is SO much to be said for keeping the walls rough, it looks insane already! A bit of lighting? Damnnnn
Light up the caves and glass them like windows. Would look insane at night!
Doc getting excited over his tomatoes, irl and in game, is pure gold
Also, I still think the world eater should be preserved. Even if it's just a chunk
Also also, are you going to replace the scaffolding on the diamond pillar?
He should remake the scaffolding out of diamond blocks
@@lordofthe1cheese400 That would be amazing XD
@@lordofthe1cheese400 the pure ignorant flex
Don't think they're enough for the scaffolding but it'd be dope if he integrated the non-deepslate diamond ore into it.
I agree, I'd love to see the world eater remain there, or at least the half opposite his base since the side his base is on might ruin the aesthetic he's going for.
44:41 thats just Mississippi, loud frogs and mosquito heaven
I love me some Doc. He just has the most amazing perspective on life and how to live a good one, in game and out.
I felt the excitement you had when you found the diamonds in your shop through the screen, on my face and it made me smile!
Doc: "And one thing's for sure in Minecraft. You gotta, you know, make sure you don't go crazy"
Me: ? points at perimeter
I love that doc is a fan of the other hermits like he really watches the videos just like us it’s just really wholesome
For the wall opposite the Hall of Goat, in addition to doing the glass cutoff, you could have big, visible roots coming down from the tree.
I don't think it'd compromise the terrain much, but it'd majorly add to the scale of the tree.
Taking a tour of the server with Doc and listening to his laughs puts me in a great mood. Keep up the great work GOAT!
The "Goat music" is so satisfying to hear.
Like a pavlovian bell, I know epic things are about to happen!
Thanks Doc & Hivemind!! I love this content
I can tell doc is enjoying his time making this video, his so persistent on his uploads lately.
Persistent? He uploads once a week.
From a good height, the exposed nubs of stone on the cleared floor look like some archaic, magical script.
Making a perimeter is such a satisfying thing to do... and to watch, of course!
“Form follows function” and I never foresaw I would be adding a minecrafter to my ‘Dieter Rams’ network of neurons
ilmango had a cool tutorial for a flying machine farm for the amethyst crystals. A lot simpler in design than the custom stuff.
The upside down one still counts because it is made by Pearl. Still has to reach the ground to win though
Technically it did reach build limit, which is the goal
But can't she simply raise the ground to win?😂
That would be hilarious, a sudden peak mountain in spawn😅
@@vegboylokesh7778 Then Grian or Scar would make a hole below it and have it crash down or something like that
@@that_tikosh yeah lol, and she will be picking her diamonds all ver the place
A pond is indeed cool. Especially given how it's moderately cold.
bee's have a pathfinding issue when in regard to water blocks this is a known issue that has not been patched yet, supposedly they have a fix for it coming in the next update.
On the other hand, that little tomato area in your base is perfection. I adore it. It will have to make an appearance in my Minecraft veggie garden. Thank you for sharing and all your delightful inspiration! 💜
Doc's intros always give me the feeling that something amazing is going to happen
Pearl's pillar is the one starting at build limit, 'cause she's Australian :D
Pillerbone?
a cool idea for the flooring of the perimeter could be something like a circuit board design, that connects the diffrent farms ... maybe even encorperating the nature-steampunk vibe somehow. For the diamond challenge you could sneakily build to bedrock and cover it up with a few grasslocks.... then when someone finishes their tower us say "i thought it needs to go all the way"
You can make the floor look like a giant whirlpool or black hole slowly sucking your farms in you can make a trail on the opposite side of the build from the hole to make it look like it’s moving and then remove a circular hole of bedrock in the middle where your drowned farm will be and make that build look like some eco style observation station researching the black hole eating the world
It's a Squish of Slimes, or possibly an Ooze of Slimes, depending on if they are trying to kill you.
Or, based on that copper timelapse, a Swarm of Slimes!
That would be so much work even automated, but would look so awesome
280,000 broken bedrock is insane to think about. I know Doc said there were large scale bedrock breakers but damn
Doc: So there might be some more things added here
Impulse’s list of every light block ever: Am I a joke to you
You know it's sometimes hard to find time to watch a full Doc video, but they're so worth it. The music gets me bleating and beatboxing along every time, the projects are always awesome, and the energy and joy is always contagious.
Doc: "green" "eco friendly" "nice modern architecture"
Also Doc: literally blows up the world for his base...

"not every episode can be an hour long movie" Docm77, signing off on a 51 minute video
For the diamon tower:
- build the under ground part without showing it to anybody down to bedrock
- build a flining machin far out aimed to your tower to push in more blocks
Sticking with the Egyptian theme, i think it would be a cool idea for one of the perimeter walls to be pixel art of the story of doc. Killing dinnerbone, losing the arm, the order of octa etc. All in the style of ancient Egyptian art
