Thank you! I made an apron using your measurements then I added to it. The best tip was when you were sewing the straps and neck strap. You used the #5 foot or for my Bernina it is a 5. Anyhow I tried that and it worked fantastically. I could never sew that close and have it look even good would look like a 3 yr old sewed it. Using that foot was the best tip. I used it on the pocket as I didn't make my pocket as wide or deep. I rounded the corners at the bottom and used that foot to follow around and looks so good I can't get over it. I did machine embroidery on my apron as well. It is a gift for my sister's birthday coming up. Thank you for the great tips especially the foot for the straps!!!!
Hi Jody, Thank you so much for your sweet comments!!! They brightened my day! I’m so happy the edge stitching foot tip helped you so much! Made it for a Christmas gift for my daughter. Used a heavier material sort of like canvas but lighter. My first ever apron. Getting ready to make a second with a lighter material. Would you consider doing a demonstration of another apron style? Maybe a Japanese type apron? I'm really pleased with this reversible apron. I've made two, one for me and one for my Mum. I am going to make a third one with fabric that has garlic bulbs all over it. I am new to sewing and your instructions are so clear and straightforward, you can't go wrong.
Hi Louise, Thank you so much for the sweet comments!🥰💗 Im so glad you were able to make this apron! I would definitely consider making another apron tutorial. Let me look for another Apron pattern. By Japanese apron are you talking about an apron that criss crosses in the back, kind of like a pinafore?? I will look for it and will add it to my line up of videos to make. It may be a few weeks before I can get to it because I have other videos planned right now. Thank you so much again for your kind comments! 🥰💗💛🌸 Happy Sewing 🧵 🪡

I'm a beginner. I have a question. It's a great video and I'm looking forward to making the apron. On your pattern/ template, you have markings of where the straps go, but I don't how far from the cut edge of the fabric they should be placed. Have I missed something?
Hi Louise, I place the straps even with the cut edge of the fabric. In my video I show how I line them up and tape the excess strap down with painters tape and sew straps in place before sewing right sides together. I hope I understood your question. I hope this helps. If it doesn’t , let me know and I will try again. Thank you so much for watching! And welcome to the world of sewing! It is so much fun!🤗💗
Thank you Susan, for the apron tutorial. I want to make one for my great granddaughter's upcoming birthday. I did as you suggested and paused the pattern and took a screen shot of it but I am confused, because I see where it says to cut 1-19"X25" for the pocket. Shouldn't I cut 1 of each fabric if I want to have a pocket on each side of the apron like you made?
Yes, you are right cut 2 pocket fabrics , one for each side of the apron. Sorry about that. I forgot to change it on my pattern. Good catch. 🤗Thank you so much for watching. 🤗🩷 Have fun sewing for your great granddaughter’s birthday! Have a sew blessed day! Robyn🤗🩷

How much fabric will I need?
I used 2 yards of the wispy vine fabric and 1.75 yards of the pumpkin fabric.

Please be aware that your music BLARES out of no where (such a turn off) at the intro and your speaking voice is at a different, lower volume. Adjust this for future videos as part of your "quality control" when editing. 🙄
Thank you, good to know.
