YES. And try the H7, too. Not for the highest power, but for the mid- and low-powers. I wish you had done a close-up of the radio as it is quite sleek and stylish. I can see this being carried on the inside pocket of a suit or sports jacket (with the antenna). Plus it's a great radio to have in the car if you get caught in an emergency situation like being caught in a snow storm, flood and so forth. It's far more powerful than some radios its size.
Got a uv5r mostly out of curiosity, been looking at big 3 stuff, want a bit more performance than uv5r for desert dualsport m/c riding.. do you feel there is a decent step up in the receiver in the bf-h6 over the uv5r? FT-60r on short list, but this with 2 batteries for >$50 has my attention..
What nobody talks about this radio is the excessive heating when transmitting, it is exaggerated, it literally burns your hand, I prefer 8w UV-82, it still generates heating but it is not excessive, greetings 73
These are cheaply MASS produced by individuals with possibly less than ideal knowledge and practice (it’s a factory). Your mileage WILL vary. They are flooding the foreign markets with them. I purchased a UV-5R pre-frequency lockdown and it ran great (to me) for a couple of years until it took a drink in the dish water as I had it sitting on the window sill over that. I’ve had about a couple of UV-5R’s and a couple of BF-6H’s purchased at 1 time. I’m still getting them setup. They all performed as advertised.
It can sound funny for some of you but the Baofeng bf-h6 is a lefty radio!! You can handle it and write on the same time... Test by yourself and you will see immediatly what's make a lefty or a righty radio😊
@@hamradiohack if you take your radio in your right hand you can access the volume button, the ptt and the keypad with only your right hand, your left hand is free to write for example... If you try that with an other radio you will see you can't do it!
Yes it will come unlocked i got 3 and had to unlock 1 But it will only say factory one time on the screen You do it just like the UV 5 r u just got to hold the # down to and then trun it on And it will work on GMRS FRS Murs And ham And if you get the program in cable There's a way to get the 1.25 Band Unlocked

I covered that in other videos. Theres several videos on this radio. I didn't want an extremely long video I tested the output. It was very close to 10w. Either way the radio isnt available anywhere on amazon and there are better choices out there now. Good luck

Damm, that's 5 buckaroo's cheaper than the radioddity GA-510. Should've bought this instead.
