If there is a spinoff based on Tariq's adult journey i see it coming full circle and he would repeat the cycle of James and pay for his father's sins. There's the Italian Crime Family still out for him, possibly Zion's crew after they find out about the betrayal, the Tejada's in a cat and mouse game and maybe even the Weston, Valdez and Baldwin families respectively. Tejadas downfall is eminent and they’ll be wiped out before the end of the season. His adult journey would be interesting because it would probably follow Ghost’s younger years we never saw on OG Power in the first episode. We saw a full fledge Ghost with a wife and kids. It would follow the years before that point. They’re a no factor. Valdez family is essentially wiped out other than Paz and her father but she doesn’t want to deal with the St Patrick’s no more, Lauren’s family aren’t treacherous and street and are more straight by the book. Brayden’s family ain’t Tariq’s problem but Brayden’s problem but they’ll likely hate on Tariq cuz they feel like they got Brayden into dealing while Brayden got himself into it. Business side makes sense, Tate and RSJ maybe. Depends. Maybe it comes full circle but the only way that happens is if they’re open and honest with their kid about who they really are and where they come from.
Tariq will stay in the game because that is all he knows. Tariq was playing hokey pokey with the game. Diana and Tariq need to head to Atlanta for a fresh start.
Since this wasn’t supposed to be the final season, Tariq will definitely survive even if the writers knew going into it that it final season. If Tariq went legit, he’d likely do the same thing as his pops, be a nightclub owner and be a part of the music industry.
Diana’s concept around leaving the game is interesting as someone that grew up in it. Earlier in the series it seemed as if she was shielded to some degree. With all the loss and turmoil it’s interesting to see her perspective.
Good pick up in Diana's story arc based on her character description. One of the ways Diana can turn into Monet is her going down South to hide the baby with cousin Janet in Atlanta.

No offence to any former convict that tries to go legit for I know it is possible, but if you have done the amount of things Tariq has done (we're talking multiple murderers here), there is no way he can just leave it all behind. He did have a perfect opportunity to go legit BEFORE all hell broke lose and he started befriending Kanan. And Ghost was absolutely right, there are no old, wrinkled drug dealers, at least not that are active. So was Tommy. But one thing I have kept asking is: could Tariq ever get access to Truth and its associated businesses? Or are they part of what he has to graduate with good grades to get access to?

Ultimately, Franklin’s punishment/fate was to live his Father’s life… The very thing he hated the most. In the Power Universe, Unique said, He was already in this….before he was in this…. Tariq’s fate/punishment rests with lessons Ghost tried to teach him above all others (Kanan, Tommy, Tasha, Dre….) But more importantly, consequences/punishment of his father. Most people understand, we eventually resemble some form of them. Tariq is no different. He will be punished from the same sins as Ghost and possibly later in life the same way.
Be like Lobos, live far enough from the game where he only comes around if absolutely necessary be essentially untouchable cuz he got men under him that deal with the street side.
