One more plug for the Intellitronix unit. I just put one in my '85 Bronco. It's a bit of a mixed system with an aftermarket HEI that's been locked out and being controlled by a Holley Sniper unit. I have been using a Holley Coil Driver to run it. So, it has a bit of a mix of wiring. I decided to go with the Intellitronix unit. I hooked it all up according to instructions I found online (due to the EFI, instructions for my setup weren't in the manual) but it wouldn't start. Long story short, I hooked it up wrong and still had the old power wire going to the coil along with the new one from the ignition box. The coil got so hot that it literally melted and bubbled! All the Intellitronix unit got was a blinking red light to tell me there was a problem, but it was completely unharmed. Put in a new coil, figured out my wiring, and it fired right up. It's a solid unit.
Wow very interesting info! who would of thought MSD ignition boxes has a one year warranty and no customer support and no help! (bastards) Great video man I love the lifetime warranty and made in USA from Intellitronix great find! Its great to see parts exposed for what they are. Its a shame you had to go through different boxes before you figured the correct box with the lifetime warranty. Love your channel you have such fantastic info that can be used in this world! For some reason i missed this video, Im subscribed but it showed up, and glad it did! Hope everything is going fantastic and enjoying the weather and camping! You can't imagine how important it was to watch this video, Im from Argentina and always have problems with Mallory, MSD and cheaper ignitions such ProComp, I hope this product made in US be the definitive and last one.
While the price you note is a bit outdated now I too am impressed with the product's LT warranty as I had the same experience as you with a unit from MSD as well as one from the now long since out of business Jacobs Electronics. Thank you for the information!

What is the RPM cutoff for the multiple sparks, and for how many degrees of crankshaft rotation? The MSD systems are very clear that there are multiple sparks for 20 degrees of crankshaft rotation at 3,300 RPM and below, but I can find no info on the Intellitronix system.

So what is you opinion of operation in using it.....this is just a sales pitch unless you have actually used it....this was nothing different than going to there sight
Mike, While it is interesting to review new products - it is also expected to have some follow up on the product. Especially an ignition product. Very disappointing.
Sorry you were so disappointed. I can destroy any product that you want to send me within a week. Should that be the review I do? I can use and repair almost any product indefinitely, should that be the kind of review I do? It is highly subjectable and conditional on how these products will last. The last thing I want to do is tell you this one specific product last when in all reality your situation and the product that you receive may not last. It has a lifetime warranty, does it really matter? Again, anybody can make a product look as good or as bad as they want. I find it a waste of time to revisit a product once it's been reviewed unless I have had numerous problems with it that was entirely out of my control. So if you don't see another video on a product everything's fine.

No I didn't have to do any of that I just used the quick harness that is offered for TFI Fords.
