did someone use that dagger in actual combat?? it looks like it's seen many battles ?? this is pretty unacceptable for how many piercers have reached out to work with them and provide information lmao
would love to see you review ask & embla. i got a septum clicker from there once and had to remove it after only a few days because it irritated my piercing so much 😬
I have a couple of their titanium clickers but haven’t worn them due to stretching before they arrived. Would also be interested to see before I decide to gift these to friends
Pls review Banter piercings by Pagoda 🙏🏼🙏🏼 I had a client that wanted me to put it in her healed tragus piercing and the quality was terrible for something that claimed to be 14k gold! The bar caved in on itself and the screw part literally snapped
I never comment but have to say, Oufer is another random company based out of China just like half the crap on Amazon…I’ve tried it and it’s as good as you would expect. No mill certificates, no lasting mirror finish; I think they just make bank off advertising somehow with heavily pierced people getting free jewelry on RUclips & saying they’re amazing for the brand promotion 🫢
I love the commitment to you showing off what I knew would be wrong with Studs. I live in Seattle too and my tiktok algorithm was jumping me with Studs ads constantly (among some other fishy pieecing jewelry ads) about a year or so ago and I'm so glad you've made content addressing it. Out of curiosity, did you think that the employees were trained to reject you from the store? I love a silly goofy disguise/spy mission moment, and I understand why you do it when buying online for reviews, but I was wondering if there was anything about Studs in particular that necessitated the disguise? Again, love your stuff!
I love your dedication to this! I did not expect you to go undercover for this. I got ads for studs on Facebook, looked at their site and already was like… nah this isn’t it aside it looking cute and having a nice aesthetic. Also will be honest. Learning aseptic technique is not hard. Their front of house staff can absolutely learn proper asepsis just like many students learn in microbiology class. It doesn’t take much to learn on the job to wear gloves and resterilize something after being handled. BBP training is nice but they could have been taught some guidelines for handling on the job, which to me means possibly upper management doesn’t have any regard for BBP either.
I love your channel so much! I wanted to be a piercer when I was younger, but life took me in a different direction, if your channel had been around when I was younger I might’ve just gone for it. I appreciate your commitment to spreading good education, keep doing what you’re doing 💗
I've bought a lot from them without much issue, I will say a recent pair of stone plugs I got has a part of it I can feel is flawed/jagged on the flare. It isn't on the wearable area, so it still is comfortable in my piercing, but likely their jewelry isn't great. Would love to see Lynn look at them too tbh since I've been buying from them for a while
lol they took the "like Claire's" prompt too literally Would love to see you review Steel Navel. Since watching your videos I've learned I should avoid a LOT of their jewelry, but am curious as to what you think about some of the other stuff
Love this! Us as consumers are swayed by marketing and false promises, so this series is so important! Especially for us that need safe titanium and gold
Yikes! I just got a pair of earrings from Studs, mostly because it was the only place in my area that I knew had flat-back earrings. No piercing studios in my area had websites where they showed the jewelry they sell. Folks. Please get a website and not just a Facebook page or Instagram.
I was in Austin, TX for a work trip, I went to a tattoo studio to get pierced initially and the all male staff were really cold and off putting so I looked up another pace and saw studs. I saw piercing needles and trusted the solid gold jewelry so I checked it out. The vibes were so good and everyone was so sweet so I spent $300 on two solid gold pieces, one rook and a tragus piercing. My tragus was fine but the rook was angry for almost a full year. I knew it could take a year for it to heal but I never thought maybe the jewelry could be an issue. I’m pretty pierced and NEVER had any issues before but figured, every piercing is different… I’ve taken it out and never noticed any tarnishing but now I’m scared… lol!
I'm in Canada and didn't know about that studio. Interesting story. I did think about the cost. My son has a BVLA gold dagger in a lobe piercing and I know what it costs. It is a beautiful earring, though and worth the money. He really likes it. But, I think your point is valid. If a studio says something is at a certain level it should be at that level.
Oh wow this is disappointing seeing the jewelry up close. I have 5 piercing all done within the last 6 months at studs. 1st and 2nd lobes and one helix. 😢 the healing had been ok. Would love to hear your thoughts about rowan if you havent shared although i can probably guess your stance. Also cords club and tini lux
I'd love to see a crazy factory jewelry review! They're quite popular in Europe and very low price, and I personally wear some of their jewelry without issue (in healed piercings obviously)
Can you review Mejuri? They have piercing studios. I also know of people who worked at Studs and could give information that answers a lot of your thoughts. Not good answers either.
Hey Lynn! I've been waiting for this video for soooo long, I love this series 🤩 could you do Maedusa Body Jewelry as well? It's a French brand, I would love to know your opinion on their pieces.
the disguise is killing me lol! i’m a cosmetology student and recently hired front-of-house and i’ve been binging your content. i’ve been watching you for years, but now i have a new perspective and what you talk about is even more relevant! a lot of it is even applicable to the hair industry as well, especially in regards to apprenticeships and mentors. thanks for doing what you do, it’s taken me very far 🫶
I really love these reviews, expecially the time you did body candy since they do seem to kinda pricey compared to really low quality they offer. I'd love if you could review a big cheap company crazy factory. I bought from them multiple times and yes I did have regrets on some pieces that were really poorly made but also impressed on others since most of their stuff is under 15 dollars. They do have low quality but not NEARLY as low as the prices so I would really love to see some of their pieces under a light and see what exactly have I been wearing (I sadly can't afford more expensive jewelry.) Thank you again and would love to see more of these videos
I would love you to review some of our uk brands namely wholesale body jewellery and qualiti. I would be happy to post some over to you. I have moved over to all verified and still have some kicking about in the studio. We have a local chain piercing store who I can tell by looking at there stuff stocks wholesale stuff. These brands were once verified and then lied about mill certificates.
I remember seeing your video about a certain company calling two helix piercing next to each other "snakebites". I immediately knew it was Studs...I looked online at their jewelry and their socials and something just seemed off about them. Know I know exactly why! 😅
This is sad. I was gonna go to studs because there aren't any piercing studios near me, just tattoo places, and I can't find enough reviews for piercings at those tattoo places 😢
Where should I be buying my piercings from? Because Studs took a lot of my money. I like the flatbacks because I don’t have to take them in and out all the time which irritates my ears. I bought one of their Huggies pieces and even though it’s 24/7 wear it falls out all the time.
I buy most of my titanium pieces online from painful pleasures. Many things are ~$10 or less, can be anodized in any color, and every piece I've gotten has been absolutely fantastic. I have several I've been wearing for years straight that still look just as great as the day I got them! $35 for those pieces is 100% no excuse for the poor quality. Major yikes.
Could you please do more book reviews! it would be awesome to see Spirit + Flesh by Fakir Musafar and/or A Brief History of the Evolution of Body Adornment: Ancient Origins and Today by Blake Andrew Perlingieri! :)
Ooo a question, is anodized titanium as smooth as plain polished titanium? I would assume yes, based on how they seem to be okay in fresh piercings, but would love to see this in the light box as well!
The Studs looks like it's been sitting in my jewelry box for years 🙃 😅. Also, can you do a review on Hollywood Body jewelry if you haven't already.... I know people who use them 😐
My friend went to one while in Seattle and brought it for her daughter and it irritated her lobes and it was supposed to be titanium, even Claire's isn't this bad and I don't even allow my daughters to wear any jewelry from Claire's.
boosting this! i remember lynn mentioning bodyartforms being shady but when i tried doing my own research i couldn't find anything :(( i get pretty much all of my jewelry from them, so some alternatives would be appreciated if they do turn out to be bad actors!
I had three piercings from them. I paid for piercing jewelry. All of them gave me an allergic reaction, my cartiliege piercing was infected and I had to remove it. SO disappointed
I had a customer that went to one in NYC because her friend was impulsive and wanted to get pierced. She came in for a downsize and I asked where she went as the flatback had an “S” etched onto the back. I thought was odd and looked up the company…yeah, not impressed.
i sell body jewelry at my work, we get it from places like metal mafia, even the cheap stainless steel stuff looks leagues better than their "titanium" oh my god
If you're looking for piercing related stuff, especially questions that you don't really find answers to, sooner or later you'll come across Lynn's name, and likely also their face.
this is how you spot the ones who arent girls girls, those insecure ones who cant stand to see other women do stuff because they think it takes from them? yeah, you know the kind im talking about: without fail they will hop on into the comment section of a video made by someone (a woman) who knows what theyre talking about and has a following and without skipping a beat theyll make fun of the subject matter, then they will make a comment that is some derivative of how irrelevant they are, and they will have missed the entire point of the video in favor of being so insecure that they feel like they need to do all that to bring the creator down a notch. take note: this is very informative and useful information. its a review- i promise you folks that are into body mod appreciate and know who she is and being a review, nobody actually cares if the business being reviewed knows who she is or not because that actually is irrelevant...and they typically wont have even listened to the video and/or watch the whole thing bc they will usually embarrass themselves with comments that make it clear theyre not only one of those weird competitive women who dont like other women unless theyre 'beneath' them in the persons eyes but that they have so little meaningful things to do with their time than insult someone without even knowing what theyre talking about. its really sad.
Any place that seems like a claires twin just puts me off, as cool as it could be
The concept has SO MUCH potential done right. So much potential. I just…..need someone to do it right
@@Lynn_Loheide they are choosing profit over everything, especially now!
Do Maria Tash next
😂😂😂😂
I'm only 12 seconds in, but I just wanted to point out that this t-shirt looks amazing on you.

Great video as always! I would love to see you cover Oufer Jewelry sometime if you’re look for more brands to look into
👀👀👀 stay tuned
@@Lynn_Loheide Yesss I was hoping for this! Can't wait to hear what you have to say on them
I came here to say this!! Especially since there are some big RUclipsrs who make videos about safe body modding who use them extensively.

I've been waiting for a continuation of this series ❤ thanks Lynn! I can't wait for you to check painful pleasures
lynnnn please do a review of urban body jewelry, i want to purchase some ear plugs (glass) but i want to know if they’re good.
I would not recommend purchasing from them. I had issues with my plugs being differing in size FOR THE SET IF THEM.
I've bought a lot from them without much issue, I will say a recent pair of stone plugs I got has a part of it I can feel is flawed/jagged on the flare. Hi Lynn! Loved the video, could you review “Lulu Ave” (Lulu’s body piercings) next?
I’ll add it to the list! (Although it’s becoming a long long list lol)
I would love for you to review Rowan - very similar concept as Studs!
Love this series!
When it's in the light box, there's nowhere to hide!!!
"This... This is just what it looks like." 💀💀💀💀 Also I love your top

Can you do a review of the brand Oufer?
That said "no I'm EXACTLY like Claire's
Toxic, low quality items is that ok🙂?"

I reviewed them last year! Search their name on my channel :)
Review LuLu’s now 👀
I’m new to your channel and wanted to ask if you hold classes to become a body piercer.
That is not how you become a piercer! The best way is an apprenticeship- and I have lots of videos about this on my channel!
@@Lynn_Loheide I watched one right after I left this comment and will definitely take this advice. Thank you for taking your time to reply!

Im tickled by the title alone 😅
That’s why it’s so cheap. I saw the capital hill location and saw jewelry that literally turned black. Glad that I didn’t go with them
They have a piercing apprenticeship program 😒
your normie disguise is so unsettling 😭
It’s really good right 🤓 should I do a whole video as normie Lynn
this is how i know you people aren’t serious, going undercover at a piercing chain is crazy i promise they don’t know who you are 😭😭😭
