    Hello friends! Wendy has just suggested a great dupe alternative, Ana Luisa. They look to be U.S based, but I think they ship worldwide. Another great option if you want the Maria Tash look for less! xx

    You said that with lab grown diamonds, you dont have environmental issues. That isnt really true. Lab grown diamonds take enormous amounts of energy to make and are not considered environmentally friendly. There are some benefits through. There are several articles about pros and cons about lab grown diamonds and people should read up on those to be an informed consumer!

    I get a piercing when I travel to a new country, it's a fun souvenir. I go to top piercers who know what they are doing and understand placement and what works with different ear shapes for a fraction of the price. When I was in Irland I could not get what I wanted because the shape of my ear would not support it. If someone wants to go to Maria Tash I have no problem, but you can get the same professional service from other places where professions who have been piercing for years.

    Your earrings look stunning. ✨ I love how you make it look elegant, timeless and effortless and not “messy”, which often happens when someone’s got several piercings. As a jewellery “nut” I love seeing jewellery hauls, favourite jewellery pieces and collections especially for inspiration. 🤩

      Same here. I did buy a couple of Maria Tash pieces (for existing piercings), but all of my piercings were done at APP certified piercing shops, or tattoo shops that had an APP certified piercer working there. (Jan Griffiths).

    Very good video for anyone thinking about this! I've been contemplating getting my second earlobe holes redone, mine never healed properly so I let them close up. I don't know if it was how they were done or just my own issue, but I love the look with two. Ear cuffs are a great way to get the look of an additional piercing without having it done, great suggestion!

    Firstly hi from Australia, thank you for dedicating such a in depth video to this exact topic and brand. I feel like A. the brand was everywhere about 5-6years ago being heavily featured, but the hype had died of late, and it was so hard to find a classy/elegant lady above 30 that had an interest in luxe piercings talk about this. I've been scouring the internet for months now hoping for this exact thing, so love that you've done it. :)

    Hi Sophie! I have a Maria Tash opal hoop. It is the best quality! I shower, sleep, workout etc. with this earring in and never have any problems. I did have the opals checked at a small opal shop in the states and they are real opals. Just wanted to share.

    This is all the same as going to a regular peircer....only WAAAY more expensive!! It's easy to find solid gold jewellery for much less, with flat backs/clickers etc.
    As far as I can see you are paying over the odds just to be able to say you got peirced at Maria Tash 🤷‍♀️
    I have 7 holes in each ear, both nostrils plus my septum, angel bites, nipples, toungue. I've been collecting peircings since I was a teenager, I'm almost 45 now 😅
    Crystal Heaven is a company I've used a few times, they are great and their customer service is fantastic!! 👌🥰

    Sophie I just had a new piercing 2 weeks ago in my lobe and I got it at our local Ulta Store. Ulta is sort of a different version of Sephora but they have salon services, including ear piercing. I was surprised by how little it hurt! But I have to wear the earring they use for 6 weeks before I can change it. Have you heard of Ana Luisa? They are online jewelry and I get earrings and cuffs from them. Nice but also inexpensive if your budget doesn't run to diamonds. Cheers!

      Dear Wendy! I am just uploading a video to Patreon that you requested - it'll be live tomorrow over there! I hope you find it fun to watch (it took me 2 goes). I know of Ulta (have ALWAYS wanted to go, I also badly want to visit a Target store!) I haven't heard of Ana Luisa, but I have just googled them - they have some really nice pieces. I shall leave a comment under this video to let everyone know about it. Thank you! Hugs xx

    Maria Tash is know for selling premium diamonds peiercings and their prices are tailored to a higher income clientele. With that said, I do like the business model of the Curated Ear and also Maria trademarked her hidden rook and helix earring backs. Instead of the traditional pushback, they created a back rod that goes in through your piercing. It’s actually quite genius. Her business model is now being copied by other brands.

    Fairly certain lab grown diamonds have no inclusions or cloudiness and that no one makes less than perfect diamonds. Any certificate for clarity and grade is merely marketing for uninformed customers.

    I will say that I’ve bought several Maria Tash earrings and for a luxury brand, their quality isn’t there.
    I had a daith earring that didn’t close, a princess diamond ring clicker that broke twice and had to be sent back (which I had to pay shipping and insurance for twice), a triple spike opal earring where the opal broke in half, and the lightning bolt earring became stripped THREE TIMES (which I had sent back twice to be fixed. I went to an independent jeweler who just made it into a butterfly back instead.
    Beautiful pieces but never again.

    • @nickyodujirin
      @nickyodujirin 8 месяцев назад +1

      Oh no! I’ve heard some bad things about some of their pieces but I’ve luckily not had any problems myself. I have the lightning bolt in my conch and I just love it so much.

    I have many piercings and I always pay so much for a tiny piece of jewelry, but I don’t mind. The service is impeccable and the jewelry is high quality. I keep my piercings in for years and still looks amazing. Healed beautifully, my advice to people is to invest if you can bc it’s so worth it in the long run. I personally don’t like costume quality piercing jewelry, I think it’s a complication waiting to happen

    I don’t know if they are meanwhile in the UK, but the brand Thomas Sabo has a sisterbrand called Saboteur. They do piercings like Maria Tash but their style is more edgy. Price wise there are not cheap but I think a bit cheaper than Maria Tash. Can‘t tell about the piercing experience, as I have no interest in getting more holes into my ears (after my last one I passed out and since then I‘m „nope, no more piercings for me“ 😂).

  • @hhueter
    @hhueter 8 месяцев назад

    If you're in the US, Studs is a similar experience and not quite as expensive. They do needle piercings and flat packs.
    i've found my lobe piercing has taken longer to heal than my helix piercing.

  • @sabbyg1316
    @sabbyg1316 8 месяцев назад

    I will say that my helix didn’t hurt like really at all, EXCEPT when it gets bumped oh MY it’s hurts SOO badly. I currently have a piercing bump on it which is unsightly but only someone who is super close to my ear can see it luckily. I’m interested in the healing stuff you are about to talk about. Had my helix for 6 months I am so looking forward for it to be healed.
