After much in-depth research about the band, reading the book and other materials, watching documentaries etc, I realised that Ewo Pohjola a.k.a. Ewo Rytkönen (the manager) is the deficient who contributed at least 50% to the demise of the old Nightwish. Althouh a pretty invisible element, but still an incompetent deficient, he caused so much damage out of sheer stupidity and irresponsibility! And the band wasn't even realizing that, so this was triggering further and deeper rifts and turmoils.
What a great video of the beginning, foundations and history of NW. Tuomas is so awesome and modest when telling about the humble starting and finding the puzzle parts together. And yes...he made the Yamaha outboard motor to run ; )
Finns seem to be a lot like Canadians. They get drunk, and look for a lake to drown in. Oh, that bit where Tarja is taking about leaving the band...Tuomas's face just says it all. Ouch.
... and Tarja at the time thought she was Nightwish and barely cared shit about the band how they were doing after that. This can be seen from her face. Deservedly fired later deservedly!
@@Imagine1965 well I kinda understand her , if the guys are partying all the time and she alsolooks more of an introvert tome as well...every story always has two sides...and as I understand they have bo bad feelings between eachother anymore, Tarja and Marco shared a stage coupleof years agoand Tuomas has said that they willnever perform "bye bye beautiful" live again ..maybe its time for you to put you hate aside as well, cause you dont know what was actually going onand yeah if she wanted to leave the band...whats wrong with that? She even said that her goal was to be 10 years in Nightwish and also Nightwish was formed as a metal band thanks to Tarja she was one of the creators of the band with Tuomas and Emppu so it was her band as well and I remember very well how popular Tarja was...you cant argue that Tarja was a huge reason why Nightwish got soopopular in the first place, her voice in metal band was very special at the time, show some respect! seriously... if you are really a fan of nightwish then you respect all of them

Not in popularity at all. NW has sold over 8 million records and that's a decent amount even for an american band so in Finnish scale its pretty huge and way over the rest candidates.
Well that's a personal preferens. I find them pretty different from each other. I listen them both and they both are good. Nightwish has more music to listen tho. They don't have financial problems like Wintersun about studios or other things. I think Nightwish would never need a crowd funding these days.

This is probably the worst, most embarrassing and the dullest document I have ever seen. Seriously, is this the best footage this amazing band could provide? The best part were those moments of reflection in the cabin on the island.
