It’s been happening here for ages too, mate. Scott’s Mustang has been the most scrutinised car of all-time... like 140 more times than Van Jizzburger’s Commodore.
There was speculation it could be the Camaro, however I think that car is being discontinued by Chevrolet after 2023, so who even knows. The sport could really use another manufacturer
Does Scaife ever shut up about Holden, the only times I heard his voice in this, he was banging on about van jizburger, he was a flog on the track, he's a flog on the mic

The saltiest supporters are the commentators! They get so excited for a 888/RBRA win yet when anyone else wins you can almost hear the toys being tossed out of the sand pit
When the competition make it so your car is constantly chopped up and hobbled and whinge about you having no talent and being a cheating car, you’d call them dogs too.
But when 888 did it in 2010(iirc - it was either their first or 2nd year in the Holden) the Holden guys turned a blind eye to it... Whincup slowed to below 40kms, and then STOPPED in the fast lane in the PITS so Lowndesy could do his stop and still come out in the lead. I'm not saying its right what happened then, or at Bathurst in 2019. But what I AM saying, its NOT the first time this has happened, and both the Red and Blue sides are guilty of it. Bathurst was just more published because it was the first year of the Mustang, and all the parity talk - and given its the most watched & popular race on the calendar, thus it had more exposure to scrutiny.
Lmao at a coupe winning. Team are cheaters plus the aid of a 2 door... Chassis is superior. V8 supercars is just a joke now. Back in the day Jim Richards complained about Holden's 3mm larger spoiler and that was resolved. Now we're running 4 doors with coupes. Not fair, so what's the point.
Hi @Swipez, I understand your frustration but underneath the Mustang, Commodore and Altima skins, the chassis' are the same under every car. Next year with further aero changes we should see closer racing. That being said - 2019 was the year that Scott McLaughlin dominated the championship which is something to be celebrated. #VASC #Supercars
You do realise that the cars are essentially the same underneath. The main advantage of the Mustang being a coupé is being able to reach minimum weight easier - which was countered by the Mustangs having to put ballast up high... unlike the Commodores last year where they could reach minimum weight easier than the Falcons, but they had no restrictions on where they could put their ballast, which meant they’d put it low and central... and Scotty _still_ won ;-) .
Swipez I can understand when Nissan & Skyline got banned..... Common sense says that it was a major disadvantage to the whole racing category running rear wheel drive or front wheel drive against an all wheel drive turbo?
Not bad for a car that has be consistently hobbled throughout the year
