Usually grade 2-4. Grade 1 is usually treated with lifestyle change and medicines and yoga.

Sir , I recently had the varicocele embolization procedure done with glue a few days back. Sir I wanted to ask how long will I feel this lower abdominal pain and heaviness in the scrotum. Because I did not have any pain before the procedure when I had varicocele. And secondly the blocked veins are stiff and hard right now. Is that normal ? How long will it take these veins to shrink ?
That can last upto 6 weeks to a few months. In few cases. Stiff veins r normal but depends on operator also. So discuss with your Interventional Radiologist

Hello Sir, I had a varicocele embolization competed exactly two months ago today in Canada. I am still in so much pain from teste to abdomen. Is this normal? I use good scrotal support, healthy eating and drinking and avoid heavy exercises. I am not sure what more I can do, should I go to Emergency Room? This is very stressful and scary
U should go once and sort out reason for the pain. It occasionally can be due to embolic material used. Let an Intervention and a Urologist review.

I went to a good renowed andrologist hospital in hyd but he said I don't have varicocele but after few days I. Did scan in good center then I got grade 3& 4 why urologist are taking varicocele as granted and always they say that varicocele won't cause severe pain they will say it as infection y sir y it is happening like this

Sir sir again sorry to disturb you, I just got diagnosed with severe hypothyroidism 251 TSH and 0.17 T4 Thyroxine 112 mg started immediately... So definitely when I was operated for varicocele 3 months ago I had hypothyroidism and we were unaware of it... Can you tell me if this is a problem and can result in surgery failure or recurance as we operated when Thyroid levels was not in control?
U need to visit a local endocrinologist. But I don't think it should interfere with varicocele Surgery success or failure
@@DrGauravGangwani actually I was confused due to endocrinologist as he said "you operated in this time yet nothing happened to you? I said nothing just had little pain when veins in grade 2 side was operating and testis was swollen but painless... He said it's good nothing happened to you... I just got reply from my surgeon he replied with "no" that means according to him nothing will happen... Endocrinologist said we'll do semen analysis 6 months after thyroid levels come to normal, not 6 months after surgery

I actually went to see a urologist today, not my regular surgeon, to get a second opinion on those visible veins I've been so worried about and bugging you about the whole time. The doctor physically examined my testis and said everything looks fine, nothing to worry about. So, I guess I can finally put my mind at ease. Thanks for all your help doc
