Actually shocked to go back and look at Quinton techniques. He was really sharp and smart defensively. Really impressive, I forgot over time that’s why he was one of my favs and also why even Jon jones had a healthy amount of respect/fear for him when they fought
Yes. His boxing looked very technical here and his defensive guard on the inside is beautiful. He took advantage of Chucks guard with that stiff jab to create openings and get on the inside. He also knows how how much weight to put on that front leg depending on what he wants to fire off, something that often times gets lost in MMA . A-1 👌
No cage to help anyone. This kind of ring would completely eliminate the wall and stall tactic of a lot of grapplers. Too bad the UFC would never use it.

The spectacle of a PRIDE event, from the opening to the closing of the event is something that the UFC will never be able to match. PRIDE was for the people, the UFC are for their own bank balance and the fans can just suck it!!!

I think it’s too bad that Dana White was in on the commentary for the Chuck Liddell versus Rampage Jackson. It seemed to me that Bas Rutten’s commentary was skewed to make Dana White feel better about Chuck Liddell not following his game plan.
The Golden Age of MMA. Saku vs Monster. It seems like nothing is happening. But this tension and search for the opponent’s mistakes can be felt through the screen. This is part of why almost all of the fighters from pride became superstars

PRIDE NEVER DIE 👊🏽
Pride FC still better than UFC

FACTS!!
Pride was ruled by yakuzas killing each other, rigged fights, fighters pushed to take steroids, etc.
Might be more entertaining but the skill level is so much lower compared to todays ufc
