    How’s it going Brian now I’m not 100% sure on this but after 3 times opening my valve trying to fix a slight air leak, first attempt I cleaned it up nice looking for any debris, relubed. Same problem, 2nd attemp I changed out the o-ring under the white delrin Valve cone, problem persisted. 3rd attempt and something you didn’t touch on is the oring under the brass valve housing. After figuring out a safe was to pull the brass out which I did with a piece of paracord weaved through two adjacent holes. Popped out replaced the oring , buffed my brass to a shine and viola! No more “psssss” 25cal I’m amazed with the consistency of the system . So any reasons why maybe to leave that alone. Thank you for your hard work.

    I hope you'll offer those parts ( balls and any O-rings necessary) on your shop at some point. Thanks for the detailed, well explained vids !!

      I have them. It’s pretty rare you’ll ever need them. The pout of the video wasn’t to raise concern about the parts but instead just show the gun is really simple and easy to service

    What does that retaining ball actually do? Is it only to prevent the valve from moving and if so, why is that retaining bal made of rubber? Thanks, this is an awesome gun.

      It keeps the valve pin in place. Correct positioning ensures it will always touch the trigger arm. It’s made of acrylic for light weight

    Edgun sells the steel ball instead of the plastic one???

  • @dchall8

    I am an aerospace engineer and know enough about fluidic valve systems to be dangerous. With that said, I would think changing the mass of that ball from plastic to steel would cause a problem to the delicate operation of the valve. Did you notice any difference in performance?

    • @edgunwestLLC
      @edgunwestLLC  3 года назад +3

      Good question. In the past I have changed valves from plastic to different types of metals. Changing mass of the valve resulted in changing the valve dwell time. Leshiy 2 valve ball the mass differential was minimal and pressure is relieved after each opening so the mass of the valve is not as big of a factor as a traditional poppet / hammer airgun. So in short no difference in performance or extreme spread of the projectile.

    I ordered the leshiy 2 in a .22. If I want to go to a .30 can I just buy a .30 barrel and swap it or do I need some sort of adapter I would need to buy also?

    • @artic7030
      @artic7030 2 года назад

      You will need a new magazine and that’s all speaking of parts. Then you’ll need to tune your valve pressure to adjust it to a proper setting for .30 cal. After that, you can tweak your tune with the diameter of the nozzle jets to adjust the valve dwell time (sold separately).

      Why are you using a great big adjustable spanner to remove those tiny brass valves? use a 5mm spanner or socket.

      I am guessing that all this information is for maybe in the future use.
      I have over 3 thousand pellets with my Leshiy Classic, with no problems. And it still stacks pellets at 10 meters.
      And I am approaching 500 pellets with my Leshiy 2, and still no problems.
      All information is good,, even if you never have to use it.
