Could you give information as to where to purchase stihl circlips for the wrist pin please? I can only find clips that come in a kit with piston and wrist pin.
I noticed on my farmertec piston rod that it appears to be longer than it should be to fit between the two C-clips housed in the piston. I put one C-clip in the piston and inserted the rod into the piston so it was firmly touching the installed C-clip. Next, I observed the second C-clip location on the piston and I couldn't see the channel where the second C-clip should be inserted. It looks like the rod is 1mm longer that what it should be and is covering up the C-clip channel. Have you noticed this situation before? I know you use the Stihl piston rod would could be shorter than the farmertec part. I had to grid down the rod a little to get the second C-clip installed....what do you think is going on?
Hi, I would not use that piston pin, I would either get a replacement Stihl one or Farmertec one of the correct length. They must have sent the wrong length pin. That fit is critical to ensure the c-clips hold the pin. Email us if we can help you out, we have both in stock.

Hello wondering if you ever had a wrist pin. Longer than it should be in any of the kits? Mine is to long to allow both circlips to go in. Thanks
Hi Glenn, we have not had that issue but if you need a replacement please email me: steve@newenglandpine.com
