Cool review. Looks like a custom version of their stubby like of screwdrivers with bit holders. I don't think I've seen one with that combination of Torx bits. Boker must have paid for the custom branding and special silkscreening on the cap.
Just wanted to chime in - if anybody is looking at this thing and wondering about the price, just go get it. It's a must have for anybody who has folding knives. There's a Wiha bit selector in a green box for less, but this red/black stubby is better because it combines everything you need in one tiny package and it's shaped just right to fit your palm and give you the leverage to remove screws that have been loctited in.
Which wiha torx driver kit did you get that you say doesnt compare to this? I want to get a set of good torx drivers for the same purpose. I was thinking about the precision kit of separate drivers or the longer knurled metal handle with bits like this one. After that comment about the torx driver kit not comparing to this it makes me lean towards one with the bits. Although originally I was thinking I would prefer the individual drivers
good review, i only buy wiha tools because they are the best, and i might just have to get one of these due to its size and the amount of bits it holds. Just knowing its wiha, its going to be quality and not some gimmick. looks like ill get more torque like you suggest, which is what im missing with my current torx set from wiha. my main reason going with wiha is they don't strip easily like many other manufactures do. i agree about the quality of knives from boker china. i have not handled any of there knives from there german factory. i wish they would manufacture some of the boker china knives that are cool in the usa or germany (if the german factory is as good as what some say it is) for better higher quality. the prices for the boker china quality can be upsetting. paid a bit for the boker exceliber 1 cf frame lock and was disappointed with the quality for the price, i would pay more knowing im getting quality like a ZT.
I love the Wiha tools. I am impressed by their consistency and quality. Boke, on the other hand, is hit or miss. I owned a Maple Burl Exskelibur 1 and had to ship it back to Boker USA because the lock stick was so immense I had to use a screwdriver to open it!! Admittedly, they send me a new one which was perfection, but still...
they didnt have any part in making that tool. you can buy the same exact tool from wiha without any boker branding. also, the bits arent magnetized at all. the thing they go into is magnetized therefore when the bit is in the handle the magnetism travels through the bit.

Tough to screw up a WIHA tool...even for Boker. Been using mine for some time on knives and handguns. Great tool and tough bits.

Very useful. Especially for a carry or travel item. So you don't have to take a large pack of tools.

Arthur Akopian I think so. This is a nice compact package with alot of good sizes of bits. Just make sure its compatible with your guns!
sometimes the screws for the slab 'scales' have an adhesive on them.... tell how to get them loose (soldering pen, etc. )

i can't find that exact bit configuration anywhere on amazon. I guess, that they discontinued that bit combo?
