Thank you so much for watching my videos. I have used liquitex colors, you can use any good brand professional colors. For blending make sure to use a smooth brush it will make blending easy. And use a refrence peacock feather picture if possible

I have used deep green and lighter shades of green ( you can make them by adding yellow + deep green as required) for outer feather. Orange , brown and green for darker inner circle. Sky blue and little turquoise for second inner circle. And last any deep or darker shade of blue.

No, gesso has liquid texture which makes it difficult to form textures.
