I have a doubt, when you zeroing you use the first SpecCheck vial... the most transparent... but when you read at tap water you don´t use the sample water to establish zero...(note, manual says literally: "Fill 10 ml cell with sample (the blank). Cap")...dont talk about zeroing with the SpecChek..... even just sample water for zeroing.
several issues with this video. If you haven't used the Hach II kit before, turn this off because there are steps skipped, ignored, or completely wrong in this video. I hope the individual that created this video doesn't have to represent his community as a water or wastewater operator.
This is sketchy..... When adding the dpd packet the water turns almost instantly....i feel like he had the wrong sample he added it to .. and i do this daily so ive got an idea what im talking about...even with minimal chlorine, the water begins to turn pink as soon as the packet is added...
heads up people do not shake the the bottles with the DPDs in it and also fill the water up in the bottles to where the miniscus is even with the line. remember watet is curved at the top!!!
