Cheers Noel, just want to get a bit of height and cover the fence, plus some colour coming through.

Good beginners video and great enthusiasm too. Look forward to the garden maturing

Thanks Gordon needed plenty of enthusiasm this year to repair the garden after our winter. My fault I have learnt, need to plant with what our winter throws at us. Hardier plants. Just will hopefully look good over the next few years watching it mature.

Hi Richard the only things I don't like moving are palms in the ground. But need to move one next year apart from that everything I move nothing really gets set back. It all depends on what your thinking about moving.

Hi Dim here (don't know why youtube is showing the orignal nickname since a few weeks). Nice work Matt, it's a very good start and it I think you'll see all the results next spring ^^

Hi Dim it's Matt here, had to use my misses phone to reply, yeah I have just noticed your nickname very change, thanks again for commenting, hopefully it will all tie together, a bit more evergreen, only need to protect tree fern. Virtually 95% fully Hardy. Give it a few years and it should fingers 🤞 look full and tall.

Regardless of what the bamboo is at the back. It will grow within a couple of seasons to about 1m wide. Not the canes themselves but general overhang. Sure you can cut it back, but I would say generally the border is already overcrowded. Some of the plants in that border can get much bigger, I would plan for 3-5 years in the future in regards to the size of each plant. Just my opinion, I'm not telling anyone what to do.

Hi agree with alot of plants in there at the moment. Most of the grasses and ferns are just fillers at the moment. Agree with the bamboo will be keeping an eye out over the years. Once my main plants grow will remove the others to free space up. Just trying to get some life and colours goin on this year
