Thank you. I appreciate the fact that you started the video telling where you are located. With some gardening videos, you don't even know where the person is, so you don't know whether or not the plants they are promoting are appropriate for your climate.
I live in SE Florida in a high rise condo. Southern facing, some direct sun in winter, but only bright diffused in summer. Suggestions for potted plants that have a year round fragrance?
Hey, that was very informative, do you know of any fragrant plant besides rose that can survive Toronto winter? Thanks, do you sell it in Toronto Canada?
Most of these are so common where I'm from hahaha. I have a gardenia and two huge frangipanis in my garden, and several of my neighbours have them too. I just bought that same variety of jasmine sambac and waiting for it to arrive, it's known as belle of India. In the same order I also bought a yesterday, today and tomorrow plant and orange jasmine, which are also fragrant. The tea olive is known as osmanthus here... never smelled it before, it's not as common as the others but I'm so curious about it now
Great vid do any of these fragrant plants grow from seeds? I realize you don't do internationally shipping but could you suggest any nurseries or online companies that Do?
@@EarthWorksJax thank you so much for your suggestions. I was wondering though if I used a local shipping company in Barbados which has a warehouse in the USA with an obvious US shipping address would you be able to provide a Phytosanitary Certificate for a selection of plants?
From what I've smelled, not all frangipanis are fragrant. I was in Puerto Rico and they grow like crazy and were in full bloom. Not all we're scented. If you want to make sure you have a frangrant variety, buy that specific hybrid.
Sambac, hedychium and ylang-ylang is a trio that's found in garlands here in the Philippines. I just got myself some aglaia odorata but the fragrance isn't that strong, I had to get close to smell it. Planning to get gardenia, murraya paniculata and tuberose in the future. I wish I can find a seller for osmanthus here.
I’m glad that you mentioned how deceptive common names for plants can be.
Praise and glory to our Creator God for so much beauty and fragrance.
You guys are lucky to have such beautiful weather all year round
Of course, plumerias are always a favorite for a traditional lei in Hawaii, plumeria and ginger leis fragrance reminds me of bootcamp in San Diego
I would love to visit your garden! We frequently visit Jax to visit family and my sister told me about your place.
We look forward to welcoming you Shoryo!

My favorite of all the fragrant flowers is the GARDENIA. 👌👌👌😘
I have a Gardenia I purchased as a small plant about 10 years ago that’s massive and scents my entire doorway most of the summer. Love them.
Thanks for all the ideas but one you didn't mention is Hedychium. They can be very fragrant and hardy too!

Ginger, jasmine, plumerias, my favorite lei is of white plumeria with the yellow in the middle
