I had changed the reflection settings in the config file prior to finding this video. That being said, in the W900 100 anniversary 86" sleeper while the reflection settings were set to 3 or 4, I forget, the road lines would reflect on to the windshield making a horseshoe or wave shape depending on which lane you were in. It was very distracting and only happened in that particular truck. Change it to the non 100 and the smaller sleeper and it went away. Ultimately I ended up reducing the reflection settings instead of switching trucks. I like that red chassis more lol
I can highly recommend to set g_lod_traffic to 2. It will double the distance of when the traffic changes to highest LOD. With this settings, traffic will still spawn in lower LOD, but almost immediately changes to the highest ones. You really cannot notice it until you zoom in and focus on it. Its very easy on hardware, as traffic is still spawning initially in low LOD, but it really improves how they look on the road in bigger distance. You do not see them switching anymore between LODs 100 meters away from you.
What are you using as far as the new TAA settings? What do you find looks best? I just have upgraded to 1.50 and got all my mods up to date. Also do you use the new frame rate limiter setting or lock the frame rate under the monitor settings?
Great video, as per usual. I'm finally re-installing everything and this really helps to get it all sorted settings-wise. Thanks Dan.
I made the sun beam change and omg it looks amazing great video thank you!
i have a rainbow texture issue inside my trucks since 1.51 of ats what could this be from i thinking the new shadows inside trucks are doing it
Buffer scale is the most important setting and you skipped right over it. I use 1.6.

How are you getting these settings? I don't seem to have them, even after trying to add them via a config edit and a console command.
