This guy’s got a good point. Building in wf has become much more uniform across weapon types. A hybrid build is optimal regardless of the base crit and status, and if these values are too low (especially crit) the weapon is just trash. If this weapon gets an incarnon, as that’s the question on everyone’s mind, it would be cool to have access to enough base status chance to build this weapon the way we have in the past not considering anything with the incarnon form.
Modding for Warframes has always been interesting because every choice you make is a tradeoff. Weapon modding has been trash for years because we have like 10 decent options so we just use the 8 that fit the gun and that's it. Yeah. You can do that exact thing with Qorvex because of his passive (Which i've tried and its hilarious) but the reason why I dont do it is very simple: I like weapons to work by themselves. If you depend on a warframe or a primer, then its not a build for the weapon, its a loadout (which the guy who suggested me a panzer vulpaphyla to export the viral application elsewhere understood)
It 100% does NOT go on endless lmao, but you can use it which is good enough for me. Btw, my build has changed since this video. I swap Primed Point Blank for Galvanized Aptitude, I have a better riven (reload speed + punchchtough + crit chance) so i can drop the utility mod, and I find somewhat better results on the Sancti tigris depending on the enemy type because it crits harder and reloads faster. Hope you enjoy!
I was thinking about the Tigris a few days ago. I got a riven for it, but I sold my off years ago because it just wasn't very viable to me. I was reconsidering building it again to play around with the riven. Now that I saw this video it makes me wonder if it can be the monster it once was. I'm definitely going to revisit it again.
It's definitely not the "monster" it once was, but if you liked the weapon, I think it can hold its own as shown in the video. I use it purely for fun purposes, but whenever I nuke a room of steel path kuva enemies, trust me i ain't thinking about meta xD
I never used the Tigris, but I think your build is on par with my Strun Incarnon build. Now I want to try it out! Thanks 👍 I also want to try Shotgun Vendetta on the Strun now that I finally got it from the new arcane packs and I see what it can do.
No, it is not on par. The Strun incarnon is, MUCH, MUCH, MUCH MUCH MUCH BETTER. This is just a fun build to revive an old classic. If you really like it tho.. try it out. But yeah the Strun is just on another planet IMO.
@@TheOnlyOneDed You're right, the Strun Incarnon is better, should go without saying. One of the best weapons in the game imho. I was talking about my particular build's first primary shot. I should have been more clear. But they really are on par in that sense (first shot or 2 in simulacrum) which I thought is pretty cool to see. Definitely wasn't comparing to like an Incarnon aoe shot that procs 10 stacks of viral, 20+ heat, and slash crits on every hit while merciless and galv chamber are maxed.
Sadly, nothing anyone can do to save this weapon until it gets a Incarnon Form. Constant Reloading is just defeats the purpose to use it. Incarnon weapons have taken center stage, if you don't have those have a Kuva or Tenet weapon. DE is doing something great with the Incarnon adapters. Looking forward to seeing the new Incarnon Adapters. Maybe this weapon will get one in the next update.
I 100% agree. HOWEVER. IMO a Tigris Incarnon should also reload every two shots. The difference being, I would make those two shots make a whole hallway empty of enemies. I want the Tigris Incarnon to basically be Doom 2's super shotgun. The Hallway remover.
@@TheOnlyOneDed But I am sure DE won't do that. If they do it needs a blast type to clear a room/hallway. There are Incarnon weapons that are shotguns that just do better compared to Tigris, even not being a Incarnon is still better than Tigris. Tigris fell from grace a long time ago, it needs something that make people want to use it. I even tried to breath new life into my own Tigris Prime, and I was like Nope. And this was before Incarnons was a thing. I went back to using my Kuva Zarr. I would rather see Zarr as a Incarnon over Tigris. Cause Kuva Zarr would be insane.
Ik warframe players are great but they can be some of the hardest copers in any given fandom, between this, Inaros, whips, etc. if you enjoy it fine but to say it’s OP or “fixed” let’s relax there😂
@@OliveOil01 you both didnt watch the video. I explain several times that: Yeah it isnt meta, yeah it isnt as good as what we have today, but this build makes it USABLE. In fact, you didnt even watch the start of the video... where I straight up just say: Even if the shotgun status wasnt nerfed years ago the Tigris wouldn't be meta. Im not coping, im enjoying my favourite gun and having success with it.
There are two or three things with this build: 1st: If you use Kullervo, you can ignore the Punch and use Fire, because you chain damage anyway 2nd: If you use Wisp or Gauss for example, you can ignore reload speed and use a mod that gives MORE punch through 3rd: you don't procc status as often to be using viral, maybe corrosive would do better, more initial damage
1 You are right 2 Gauss and harrow? absolutely. Wisp on the other hand? Nah its only attack speed, not reload speed. Shooting the tigris faster does not reload it faster. 3 It makes sense but the slash procs on the tigris are way too strong to not mix with viral. Im gonna make a video on a weapon that is essentially what the tigris would like to be very soon.... and you'll see some shit.
I always loved my Tigris, but i didn't use the prime one. i used the sancti one. Got lucky and got a riven that made my sancti have 100% status chance i recently rerolled it for crit and now my sancti Tigris reaches 60% CC with like 21 pellets
i thank you so much for bringing tigris prime back , it has been one of my favorite shotgun ever since its release and its still in my top fav weapons USED still ❤
its more just bringing back an old weapon, its still fun to use with punchthrough and can still destroy steel path, i dont think this build is that good tho
Yeah... it is considered weak because, honestly, the new stuff we have is just too damn much. When you can shoot a guy with a torid incarnon and he dies, the 4 guys behind him die, and the 3 guys you could not see on the next room are also dying, a double barrel shotgun that has to reload each 2 shots and needs to waste a mod slot in punchthrough to even be able to compete... of course its "weak". Which does not matter at all. I want a better tigris, but if you have fun with it? Why does it matter?
Bakc in the day, I found the Tigris by accdent. Like, 6~7 years ago I played founded Tigris in the store, farmed it and Liked it. Just a know nothing Volt Guy playing with his Tigris then a Nekros guy With his Tigris, didnt know that it was The best weapon. I've installed the game again yesterday and I felt the lack of damage in my Tigris Prime. Time to farm your mods, only god knows how and thx for the build. I play games for fun not for meta, meta is cringe, bur meta fun is good. I like the Tigris, I will farm, or try. Thx.
The very old Tigris build used corrosive only. You guys didn't start using viral till I posted that viral was better. I never stopped using my Tigris on my index Rhino I use Sancti Tigris and it's built tox magnetic. No hunter munitions on any of my Tigris. Sometimes I use it with my desecrate Nekros to return hp. There are very few situations where big single target slash is better than the incarnon options out now. IMO slash itself is in decline. We are entering a lightning / melee meta with all the armor strip available now.
hey I got a riven with +critical damage +critical chance +multishot -reload speed would you say that your build would work with this riven aswell even if its a bit different than yours
Of course! It would probably use the slot of whatever has the bigger number in the riven. If the biggest number in the riven is crit damage, it would use the ravage slot, for example. That riven sounds disgusting btw
@@TheOnlyOneDed The stats are: 99.3% for the crit Chance 93.3% for the crit dmg 115.7% for Multishot Yh I got extremely lucky with this riven got it like that right after I unveiled it and thanks for your answer ^^
The thing about Tigris incarnon is that it wouldn’t even be that ridiculous. It’d kill one guy VERY dead. But in WF, group killing is way more valuable so it’d still just be fun - like a nice nod to us old hats.
as a player returning to wf from fortuna due to cross save, tigris prime is still my go to. my old molec prime build and antimatter drop i can stile nuke stuff in archon hunts. nowhere near getting steel path yet so i am sure it wont stay effective for much longer
You are exactly right. But it seems you were not paying attention to the video: I explicitly say something like this in the video: "Ive realizad even with shit status using a modern hybrid build is better than forcing what used to work" The while point of this video is "if you like this gun you can force It to work"
galv acceleration doesn't work on bullets me thinks. does it lowers falloff? in that case turns it into a sniper which plays againts shotgun vendetta. I use couterbalnace. the minus recoil makes it fell optimized?
Galv acceleration rises the damage fallof distance. However, the efect is minimal. Bumps it up from 8 meters to like 12, so no, it does not play against vendetta.
It’s so crazy bc I just went back to my Tigris last week and made this exact build with exception of my riven replacing point blank 🤣 GIVE ME A FUCKING TIGIRS INCARNON DE
i guess they don't want tigris to back on meta again they gave boar and strun incarnon but not tigris tigris incarnon would make everything easy, unless they butcher the incarnon like some weapons
Nice, but you can still kill faster with a Tenet Arca Plasmor if you want to use a shotgun. So even if you make it kill an enemy in one shot, it is still trash. Considering SP has tons of enemies, killing one one a single bullet is still worst than killing 20 with 2 or 3 bullets.
To be fair, the Tigris kills more than 1 enemy per shot with punchthrough... but, also, what you say is something that i've aknowledged several times through the video. The literal first thing I claim is "the tigris wouldn't be meta even without the nerfs"
@@TheOnlyOneDed It could be with an Incarnon form, but also, it will get rid of the part that you like about the weapon, being a double barrel shotgun, so what would be the point of using it that way? Unless they introduce a new mechanic like, since the Tigris use 2 shot in a single click, if they add an incarnon they can add something like, first shot mark an enemy and tether him with all enemies in X range, then second shot is the actual damage and the link could replicate the dmg for all linked targets at x% of the original value. That would transform the Tigris into a decent aoe weapon without destroying the original design.
Savvy does not fit the build unless you drop the upfront damage and change the arcane to merciless... which fucking SUCKS on the Tigris because it takes 3 seconds for the buff to dissapear while the Tigris takes 1.5 seconds to reload. Which is something that I have explained in the video, but you seem more willing to complain than to actually listen to the explanation. I, and most players don't use banes because its not only a pain to swap between missions but it does not make enough of a difference when we are so short on modding space. Smartass.
@@TheOnlyOneDed Banes matter because they are post calc scaling on your slash proc, so you're gonna ignore all armor, scale with viral, then scale with bane. Bane mods are obligatory on DOT builds.
@@charactername263 obligatory? Are you gonna force me? Edit: I understand what Banes do. However... explain me a case use for a Bane outside going to level cap. Because the highest level content most people are gonna do is Steel Path Mot Survival. You have seen what this build does to corrupted heavy gunners already.... so what is the point? Number go big, neuron activation? Nobody plays level cap because there is no reward. Unless you are doing SP Circuit... and anything can scale when you are playing circuit.

@@VengeDracul zarr won't get incarnon lmao only tenno and orikin made weapons get primed or incarnons
Poor guy, you're in denial just let the tigris rest in peace please it has been through enough
@@OliveOil01they are the hardest copers, just see the comment section of the guardian from d2 vs tenno
We used to ride these bad boys for miles.
There are two or three things with this build:
1st: If you use Kullervo, you can ignore the Punch and use Fire, because you chain damage anyway
2nd: If you use Wisp or Gauss for example, you can ignore reload speed and use a mod that gives MORE punch through
3rd: you don't procc status as often to be using viral, maybe corrosive would do better, more initial damage
1 You are right
2 Gauss and harrow?
@@TheOnlyOneDed yeah, you're right, Harrow gives reload, not Wisp haha
I always loved my Tigris, but i didn't use the prime one. i used the sancti one. Got lucky and got a riven that made my sancti have 100% status chance i recently rerolled it for crit and now my sancti Tigris reaches 60% CC with like 21 pellets
Sancti Tigris wants to know your location 🦍
After the status changes i just used the santi tigiris or the boar
Xatas whisper whould probably be pretty good on it too
Incarnon Tigris when?
i thank you so much for bringing tigris prime back , it has been one of my favorite shotgun ever since its release and its still in my top fav weapons USED still ❤
Any time
@@TheOnlyOneDed tried the build it works wonders tysm ♥️
You pronunciate English like you were a Native Spanish speaker xD like me
Thats because I am, mi hermano de cristo.
@@TheOnlyOneDed eso tiene mas sentido jajajaja
This weapon is still shit because it has close to none status, crit is also mid. This weapon is stuck in 2016
its more just bringing back an old weapon, its still fun to use with punchthrough and can still destroy steel path, i dont think this build is that good tho
It's stuck in 2020 with Shotgun status changes and IPS weighting changes, both which nerfed it heavily.
Yeah it is... but it is fun as hell tho.
I've managed to get a riven with punchtorugh reload speed AND critchance yesterday. Now it is even better.
@@xslite300show me yours then! If It works better I want that shit in my tigris, NOW
I often use this weapon with Rhino roar, I didn't know it was considered weak since I was pulling out 100k slash
Yeah... it is considered weak because, honestly, the new stuff we have is just too damn much.
Thx.
fun over meta overall. good to see you pushing the weapon to its limits.
Exactly! If it's fun, i dont care as long as it actually can do the job.
We are entering a lightning / melee meta with all the armor strip available now.
hey I got a riven with
+critical damage
+critical chance
+multishot
-reload speed
would you say that your build would work with this riven aswell even if its a bit different than yours
Of course! It would probably use the slot of whatever has the bigger number in the riven. If the biggest number in the riven is crit damage, it would use the ravage slot, for example. That riven sounds disgusting btw
@@TheOnlyOneDed
The stats are:
99.3% for the crit Chance
93.3% for the crit dmg
115.7% for Multishot
Yh I got extremely lucky with this riven got it like that right after I unveiled it and thanks for your answer ^^
Yeah, you build shotgun today with a ton of multishot, doesn't matter if you have low crit or status, the multishot will do the work for you.
Which is the point of the video. Even if the weapon is working against you, there is just so much shit you can add on top of it to force it to work.
The thing about Tigris incarnon is that it wouldn’t even be that ridiculous. It’d kill one guy VERY dead. But in WF, group killing is way more valuable so it’d still just be fun - like a nice nod to us old hats.
I am ok with a extra multishot + bigger spread + infinite punchthrough AKA Hallway remover
Tigirs prime got shat by damage attenuation and hordes of enemies
Why not use combat reload instead of seeking fury
Punchtrough. Thats why. Its this weapon only lifeline
as a player returning to wf from fortuna due to cross save, tigris prime is still my go to. my old molec prime build and antimatter drop i can stile nuke stuff in archon hunts. nowhere near getting steel path yet so i am sure it wont stay effective for much longer
Lets cross our fingers for a Tigris Incarnon. I can only dream...
How is this a "fix" youve just put a modern day build onto an old weapon?
You are exactly right. But it seems you were not paying attention to the video: I explicitly say something like this in the video: "Ive realizad even with shit status using a modern hybrid build is better than forcing what used to work"
The while point of this video is "if you like this gun you can force It to work"
galv acceleration doesn't work on bullets me thinks. does it lowers falloff? in that case turns it into a sniper which plays againts shotgun vendetta. I use couterbalnace. the minus recoil makes it fell optimized?
Galv acceleration rises the damage fallof distance. However, the efect is minimal. Bumps it up from 8 meters to like 12, so no, it does not play against vendetta.
would this build work equally as well with a sancti tigris?
Yes. In fact, sometimes its even better because the Sancti has a quicker reload plus a more consistent amount of crit chance.
It’s so crazy bc I just went back to my Tigris last week and made this exact build with exception of my riven replacing point blank 🤣 GIVE ME A FUCKING TIGIRS INCARNON DE
tigris prime is always good .i just don't like the firing mode
yooo guys is this an "on god" moment or "fr fr"
This is a "not noticing the thumbnail being ironic" moment, "fr fr"
@@TheOnlyOneDedthe comment's ironic too, i was playing along
You are absolutely right guys. This build sucks. I will explain why. ruclips.net/video/rGNftWX0rgc/видео.html
what frame animation is he using
Im using the Wisp Noble animations!
@@TheOnlyOneDed thx cant wait to get this build up and running
try arcane pistoleer and gauss
replace point blank with gun co
i guess they don't want tigris to back on meta again
they gave boar and strun incarnon but not tigris
tigris incarnon would make everything easy, unless they butcher the incarnon like some weapons
Yeah.
When I saw my Strun get to GODDAMN 546% STATUS CHANCE I was sad for what the Tigris used to be lmao
Slash elec also does stupid shit to them
Eh... Not sure that could work, but im sure as hell gonna try! Sounds fun
Hey 👋 i liked very much ur video, but i think that u can improve this build even further... Anyways inhope that this will get a incasrnin soon
Thank you! What would you offer using tho? Because ive spent the past year trying to make it "work" again.
Torid prime?!
I would tell you I made it up for comedic purposes... but I didnt. I had a brainfart LMAO
use the felarx/10
This one seems kinda weak
I got a Tigris riven to sell on ps5 if anyone is interested
Me crying because DE tortures me with them. WHY HAVE I GOTTEN EVERY OTHER SHOTGUN RIVEN TWICE BUT A CORINTH!
Wait until you learn about modding much better, learning about mods like Galvanized Savvy and Bane, your mind will explode.
@@TheOnlyOneDed Yes. Number go big -> Neuron activation.
Honestly this weapon is terrible, you dumb a whole clip on one enemy when you could use any aoe weapon and shit on everything
Bro says kill within 5meters or less lol, he has clearly never used a Tigris. You can literally kill enemies from across the map with a single pellet
You need to kill within less than 5 meters to activate the arcane that im using. You are not killing anything on steel path without It rolling.
Lil bro this build is some dog 💩💩 nothing can save this weapon other than it getting an incarnon form
Even then it could still be ass
