Wow! Had the pleasure of seeing Shakti at the Roxy in Hollywood during the same time period this video was captured. So good! Anyone know who the two harmonium players are (in the corners, stage left and right)?
Probably chicks they picked up. They did that every time they performed in a new place, get a random good looking woman and ask them if they wanted to play in a concert tonight.

What are those 2 girls doing behind the quartet? Pumping some kind of bellows? Are they supplying the drone or pedal tone?
She is supposed to keep the tala/time, but looks too high to function. 🤣
Yes, they supposed continuously keep drone, but not tala, on kind of one tone harmonium, plus Shakti energy materialization!
