    These Fiji boys are fast. The way their 2nd runner caught up at the last 5m their 3rd runner would've taken the lead after the handover. Smart arrangement by PNG to have our best sprinter at third leg. He saved the race for us I reckon.

    Great move by the Fijis to involve youth in this event. Especially students. Their government needs to support them. These boys will dominate the next SP games and who knows they can be very competent in common wealth games too. Congrats my countrymen.. you put out your heart for PNG.. ba yumi flow yet.

    Most of these PNG runners are from Niugini Islands region. It gives all the more reason for a big stadium to be built in Rabaul. Not in capital of Port Moresby.

    Why compare fiji Youngs against PNG. PNG runners are best in the Pacific, and they deserve their outcome achievement. I love both male and females 4x400m relays.love repeat watching their events alot. Techniques and skills. They are best . Congratulations❤❤❤.

    I'm just so thrilled of how this run executed with blistering pace..but the fijian boys always got the determination to contest the track race with guts..we can see that ..here! But congratulation to the png mens atheletes..who shrugged off a sheer passion from the fiji boys in an awesome and epic finale...what a joy to see the Pacific atheletes fam enjoy the sport..Thank you All❤

      The PNG Team is quite young as well and PNG has a solid development pathway for up coming athletes to ensure it is competitive in the future.

      @@thomasjohns7877 yes ..but are heavy matured ages..png majority of them are matured players or senior experienced players..only a few is young at 21yrs..but for fiji majority are below 21yrs old same as other P.I states who still developing their players..but png they've reached a matured and exprienced stage form to deliver a winning combination...png are No.1 now in the tracks..proud of them👏👏👍

      It's a competition, it doesn't matter if one team has alot of mature men or younger boys. As long as you a well trained and fit to run. Btw congrats to the Fiji boys coz they were unbelievable

      ​@@mathewjrBanuve..holds the outmost records for the 200mtrs and 100mtrs in the Pacific..still todate..no one has broke his records..it shows how really fast he is and all other fijian atheletes..it will take another great fiji runner to break Banuves record...in no later time.. But atheletics right now is an option for many aspiring fijians to other well paid sports like rugby or soccer and even rugby league..

    Fiji still holds lots of records here...Fiji runners are so quick..but yet still young and inexperienced..another 2 or 3 years fiji runners will be Again the top runners in the Pacific many still untapped back here in fiji.

      @@mckennageno7053 ..nope..only fiji holds the records for 100 and 200 and 400...in SPG. Long distances yes..i think New Caledonia or Tahiti holds the records. Fiji also holds the records for women in 100..200 and 400..long distances only few islands holdsthe records.. so..not for every other country you've mentioned!😂

The long distances for both men and women 800m and 1500m is Australia.😂 PNG men's and women's relay team hold the record for 4×400m and Fiji men's and women's for 4x100m...

      These PNG men were once young like these Fijian boys. Only through more training development program,
      competitions, and experience, hard work + committment, PNG won. So can Fiji and other Pacific countries.
