I cannot be the only person that watches downtown on a continuous loop.
No
You’ re not. Love the series and the movies!
No, you’re not😂
You're not
I've lost count lol
There's only one person who can quote the script better than me.
BTW, Julian you and I should talk prequel.
"Thank you, Barrow, for reminding us of Mrs. Harding's time here."
And that's how you take the high road, folks. Class act.
"I'll never forget her." "Her kindness changed my life."
I love Thomas to bits. But I had to laugh when Lord Sinderby barked "Bring that back, you stupid fool." Both Thomas and Lady Mary turned to him in shock and distaste at exactly the same time. xD
Maybe my favorite series in my 63 years. So many emotions
"You can't be surprised." "When you chose to ignore a woman like Cora, you must have known, not every man is a blind as you."
I only watched it for the first time June 2022. I had seen it on prime but just never thought about watching it until I had seen some Facebook message about it so I decided to take a look. It has been on almost continuously since. It is very addictive. There is something about the characters that make them seem like old friends and acquaintances. The accent was a little tricky for this Texas country girl but I have adjusted to it. Love DA.
When you said getting used to the accent, reminds me when I first started watching the British soap Coronation Street. I thought I was going to have to give up the show because the accent was so hard for me to understand at first. I used to watch Eastenders. That's the British accent I was used to. Coronation Street nearly threw me for a loop...now I'm all in!
I love watching the Downton Abbey series it's been really good so far and I just love the love the cast that are playing.
I always thought Robert should've clocked him one more time lol
Me too!! Just to be sure he got the message! ;)
The suspense as Robert climbed the staircase, silently so was not heard in the bedroom………..
I watched downton Abbey every episode, movie etc i am hooked on the programme
"If you do anything to stop this marriage, anything at all, I will leave you and then you'll have a scandal worthy of the name."
Isn’t Lady Sinderby awesome?!!
@@kristashafer93098She's perfectly marvelous.
Time to re-watch this series.
"Now if you will excuse me, I shall rejoin my mother and sisters."
I wonder if Lady Synderbe knew about her husband’s affair and illegitimate son when she stated that she would cause a scandal worthy of the name by leaving him. She was a gracious Lady.
Not sure if Lady Sinderby knew, but she leaving her husband would've been an absolute scandal, especially since Lord Sinderby once self-confidently declared that "divorce is a sign of [personal] failure"..
It’s doubtful. When the showed up for tea with her son in tow, Lady Sinderby did not seem suspicious at all.
"We're strong and sharp, and we can build something worth having you and I, if you'll let us."
she did not haha
Thank you for this! So many Game of Thrones crossovers!
Love Downtown Abby! ❤
I prefer Downton Abbey.
I watch The Good Wife on a loop……I’m addicted!!!
"One swallow doesn't make a summer."
Love it. ^^
"A few weeks of madness in a London season!"
11:45 Good on Robert!
THE most dramatic backhand slap and head recoil lolol
"And bring that back you stupid fool!"
"I want you to marry me"
"Why"? 😒🙄🤣
10:14 I wished they picked at least a better-looking love interest for Cora to have an albeit potential affair with. He I am sure is a fine actor but he was just creepy in this drama; he looked less like a potential lover and more like a deranged serial killer or an assassin. LOL It's so unfair that when Mary has an affair she gets somebody so dashing like Theo James and when her mom has an affair, she gets somebody like that? If I were Lord Grantham, I would have nothing to worry about... LOL
As a curiosity are you American?
🙂 💚
Mary on that train station i wanted to hug her i have been through this when my boyfriend went away to work and that was the. End i was devastated then i married on the rebound it wasn't the same.
I think Mary and Carlyle would be interesting too!
You forgot Alun Armstrong played Sinderby's butler, tsk, tsk 🤦
Paul Giamatti
Could have been called Daliances & Downfalls.
Why this turkis man died? I cannot understand..
Heart failure. A real shame..
No one knows heart attack or stroke lady Mary says
The most likely cause is an underlying condition, brain aneurysm for instance that like a hidden time bomb, picked that moment to go off.
I didn't like the way Matthew turned up with Lavinia and expent Mary to be happy for him i know what i would of said not even writingto tell Mary he was bringing her then her father tells her to write to Matthew and. Tell him about Carlisle the cheek after what she had to put up with Matthew i wish she had gone to America and found a good man Matthew was only going to leave the program her face when he walked in with her the pain on her face l could of walked in and said something to him doing that to someone who was madley in love with him
