Im gonna have to agree with green t in the comments. The amp is sort of a cheat when mixed with the custom box. 150$ sub and amp challenge would be more impressive. But use the same box, and see how loud you can get with a custom box and all cheaper price product. Even see (with a differant design) how loud cheap product truly can be. Disclaimer- not my money to burn, i know. And this is still pretty awesome. Keep up the good work.
ShowtimeSPL......i wanted to add an aux fan to a amp its fine but summers coming lol n e way should i add one fan that takes air out or 2 fans one in and one out ????? What u think thanks
I would have to disagree. U can make bad speakers sound good in the right box. I have good subs and the box makes a day and night difference. Also the amp makes a huge difference.
@@migascustomsounds3054 But Rockville has proven time and time again across multiple products of false information. Their subs and amps go up in smoke. They aren't reliable at all. There are many other cheap brands out there that do the job right. Of course the box and amp play an important role.
Theres better brands but also worse ones. I wanted to try the k9ns or destroyer but they turned out to be a bust, was gonna run Rockville speakers on my doors n trunk but now I'm just going to try out skar audio instead. I run mtx 8500-9500s Rockford t1ns and t2 JL w7s, pioneer champions, Phoenix gold elite, Memphis, image dinamics n good entry level brands like Kenwood, Sony, power accoustic, Polk audio, soundqued hd2 and nvx. My point was that u can get quality out of most subs with the right set up regardless of how badly they're built or design. They may not be as efficient or durable.
Lot of good info in this if you look at it. Single 15 in a relatively small box got higher than those two pro 18s. For shoes a team could use one vehicle for amps batteries and alternators, and run both vehicles independent of each other using your products to switch from the main vehicles speakers to the non amplified vehicle. Could you imagine, having one car loaded just with amps and batteries and the second full on subs and box not having to sacrifice space for those amps and batteries? Plus the savings in not buying the extra amps and batteries if you had 5 subwoofer only cars.... Very cool.
Another solid choice and at least 1dB louder with one transducer! Nice. (Saw this yesterday, but forgot to comment after looking for original dual K9 SPL score) Just saw a live stream from Steve Meade - some druggie or a-hole smashed his Ford F Series back glass and took a backpack with a camcorder with install footage. @@SparkedEd ok so what are the dimensions of the box? How do you know what size to build your boxes? The bamf is supposed to get 4 cubes each 15 if it's ported.
@@johnnyditommaso6807 I don't go by box recommendations or modeling software. I just use my gut. This is maybe 2.9 cubes. The smaller you go, the higher the tune and peakier it will be.
