    I bought that same Mellif companies portable soldering iron station they make for Dewalt batteries, works amazingly well, last weeks without a charge on a 5ah, great tiny portable soldering station for 40$, even bought my brother one

    DeWALT does sell a multi-bank worksite -fast- charger that also works as power inverter for AC powered saws and such. I think it holds -6- [4] batteries.

      I think you are referring to the power station and it takes 4 and requires 4 batteries to operate. 1800 continuos watts (15 amps) and 3600 peak. It is a 4 port charger and it is very slow. I think a 2ah in an hour. Dewalt has a separate 4 port fast charger. I have both and love both. This little power bank is nothing compared to that tho and the price reflects that

    it may not run a 1500watt heater(who tf you think youre kidding), but it'll definitely keep you warm when it burns your house down.

    That light would of given the top off more purpose , it just sits in my tool box until i have to charge my ipad , if im not home or in the truck ! One time the electricity went out in my block during a storm and we used it to watch tv while the electricity came back , thats the only time it really came handy 😂

    sorry, but a 9.0 did not fully charge an 8.0 Maybe it topped it off but there isn't enough juice in a 9.0 to charger through an inverter a depleted 8.0

    • @Joethetoolguy
      @Joethetoolguy  9 месяцев назад +1

      It didn’t, there was one bar on the 8.0

    Curious if this is UL listed?
    I’m no expert on insurance stuff, but I’ve heard enough horror stories of insurance companies weaseling out of paying when they’re able to trace a fires origins back to a non-UL listed item, that it wigs me out a bit on stuff like this.

      You need to be a converter to own an inverter

      Dewalt has an inverter. Dcb1800. 1800 watts continuos and 3600 peak. Needs 4 batteries to operate. They came out with it in 2016 when flexvolt was introduced. They were the first one to do it amongst power tool brands

    • @jaycarneygiants
      @jaycarneygiants 9 месяцев назад

      @@bossmanz28 I owned that inverter. There were a couple poor choices made by Dewalt that could have easily been fixed in a Gen 2 version like a modified sine wave, inability to hot swap batteries, slow charging, no pass-through charging, and no USB ports. Maybe some day Dewalt will have another go at it? Hopefully

    • @bossmanz28
      @bossmanz28 9 месяцев назад

      @@jaycarneygiants i have it and its definitely a bare bones inverter with no extras but it does everything without issue for me at work. It runs any power tool i need which arent that many cuz im basically cordless in everything except for the few things where cordless isnt really an option. Also i can program and power up commercial overhead door operators that are 115v. It handles high watts for sure. Charger thing no big deal to me cuz i jus have a 4 port fast charger. Also helps i got it used like new for only $200. For an at home type one tho would def not be the best choice.
