Hood is my favorite and most played ship in the game. Love her. That being said she could use a bit of a buff because i dont believe she has BC dispersion but instead BB dispersion. Shame because she would be much more appreciated if she had the updated dispersion. Thank you for putting a spotlightvon my favorite ship Spartan!
I recently got the Hood and the few times I've used it so far it was really fun. Haven't used it since the carrier update though. Should be interesting.

The Hood is one of my favorite ships in WOWS PC. And it's underrated over there, too. People knock it for the low AP pen but it's consistent if you aim right and don't try to cit BBs at range. The AP works in your favor with cruisers - fewer overpens. And it's accurate for T7.
However, Hood PC version has DFAA and can knock down a lot of planes.
Yeah Wish we could get DFAA on console for some ships especially our Tier 6s who just get brutalized by the new carrier update

It would be fun if this game had accurate penetration values for guns to better simulate actual naval combat. I always found it silly that in some cases 32mm of hull plating will deflect a 16 inch shell and other times it will pass a 12 inch armor belt like a hot knife through butter.

I had a crazy Gneisenau game! Kraken Unleashed and several medals. I recorded it but I don't know what to do with it. It's not connected to my email.
I was torn between Hood and Sharnhorst with my 70% off coupon.
Ended up buying Sharnhorst mainly because I have maxxed out German commanders; meaning immediate impact.
Hood still on my hit list though.

I’ve found that if I’m getting shit RNG on multiple ships, I log out and log back in and it usually fixes it. It’s like the game rolls a dice when you login, and sometimes it’s awesome, sometimes it’s average and sometimes is god awful 🤷🏻♂️

Hood has good armor for a battle cruiser if I remember correctly.
It's not bad
I won the hood in a chest not long ago. It's pretty good.
At short range, she is as well armored ass any BB, her deck armor was light. Funny fact, they were going to add deck armor to her and the plates were at the yards but the Bismarck breaking out into the North Sea postponed her refit.

They secretly did something with the aa on ships,i know due to plating the mitsu and getting a clear sky,be for i couldn't even ever get 1 kill on a plane.wargameing does this kind of stuff.planes get 1st drop then its like 800 percent aa test it your self

I'm looking for a new tier 6 BB and grown a bit bored with my Scharn.. Was considering Nelson but too many neg reviews... Isn't DOY supposedly the most accurate tier 6 BB?... And it looks sexier than the Hood 🤷🏻♂️

The Hood was an amazing piece of engineering for its time that got a bad roll of the dice.
Same thing with Gneisenau and Sharnhourst.both those ships got alot of kills, including a CV. Under ranked

You need to put Hood on the Hood. Sacrilege putting Nelson on Hood. I use Hood on all the high tier ships that aren't HE mains.
