Hey guys. Since publishing this video, Pinterest has stopped using the "Rich Pins Validator" option. Now, you'll need to add the HTML rich pin tag to the head section of your website. I'll try to create a new updated video for you guys soon and link it here! Let me know if you have any questions. xx Katei
Thank you for the lovely video. Can I ask a quick question that no one seems to answer here on youtube? Everyone explains the set up if the rich pins but no one tells us what you have to do with your pins to ensure they are rich pins once everything is validated with interest. Will you have to tag the product in order for the pin to become a rich pin?
Thank you, Katie, for another tutorial. I am, however, a bit confused as I do see a full description and title without having to install rich pins. Has anything changed since publishing this tutorial? Thank you, Isabella
Has this changed?? I have had Yoast SEO on my blog since I began last year. On the left side, I have Yoast SEO (not just SEO). My options on the list are: General, Settings, Integrations, Tools, Academy, Premium, Workouts (premium), Redirects (premium). I can't find the link for Social in any of those.
@@KatieGrazer yes. The updated yoast only has social available in their paid pro version. I personally did it this way but I have a lot of friends just starting blogging and this way is no longer relevant because Yoast took it away.
I am so confused. I added some products from my Etsy shop to Pinterest and only one of them transferred with the description of the item etc, I imagine that is what "rich pin" means. I have no idea how to fix these.
its working on my shopify page however not on the product page (that one is made in Gempages). How can I verify the Gempages productpage for rich pins? Thanks =)
I'm using Go Daddy for everything--blog, host, domain. I'm not having any luck figuring out how to enable rich pins on there. Do you have any tips? BTW your content has been INVALUABLE. I cannot thank you enough!!
hey Katie, thanks for your great Video! Is it possible to add Product rich Pins to one Pinterest Acoount, from different Online Shops, if they are claimed as your own? Thank you!
It should work for all article pins, yes. Recipe pins: that's a different story (so no). Product pins, I believe yes - if you've connected your Etsy or Shopify store. But not if you have your shop on a different platform
Hi Katie. I followed this tutorial, and I am getting this message when I insert the blog URL: The data we scraped from your site could not be validated. Please make sure all required tags are present, and you aren't serving different pages depending on different user agents. Anything else I could do? Thanks, Isabella
Hey Isabella, I'm not sure what the problem could be. If the problem remains I would contact Pinterest support. Sorry that I'm not able to help you more with this but I would need to look into your website backend...

Same problem.
I would love an update on this because Yoast no longer allows you to do this in their free version, SEO has been moved to their PAID plugin.
Hey there, hmm so in my version if you go to Yoast > Social > Facebook you can still enable the meta data. Is your version looking different?
@@KatieGrazer yes. The updated yoast only has social available in their paid pro version. I personally did it this way but I have a lot of friends just starting blogging and this way is no longer relevant because Yoast took it away.
It was amazing tutorial
Very Nice

Why does the rich pin validator not exist and I just get linked out to "about rich pins"?
Wow!
U r most beautiful. Your video is helpful.
Hey Katie. Does validating rich pin once turn on all of the 4 types of rich pins at the same time? Thank you
