The popular Downloader app is not available in Google Play Store on Android TV / Google TV Boxes.
This could be a short-term bug on Google's behalf and it may return to the Google Play Store Soon.
This video shows how to install it with the free JioPages browser.

Awesome, thanks again Troy. Bought the only onn box I could find on a trip to the US this weekend and was worried I wouldn't be able to install some of this. Worked perfectly.

Installed the JIO Pages but when I try to open the installed app, I get a message that it cannot open in TV or tablet? I don't know why can you help?

help i have a onn and i went to troys toolbox and downloaded downloader and i downloaded wolf launcher and it came back and said for my security my phone would not do 3 party, i don"t have a phone i am trying to put it on onn tv help please

Anyone else suddenly getting issues with xfinity stream constantly saying it’s disconnected from the WiFi?
Started happening so I reset the tv and had to get the downloader app again. Got xfinity stream back up and it worked great until I turned my tv and then started happening again today. Tried clearing the cache and nothing. Every other streaming app works perfectly though 😵💫🤔
If “Verity if you are human” keeps popping and not letting you in the website. Turn on the VPN.

Anyone having issues using downloader on the Onn box the cursor jumps from the top of the page and to the bottom? when I try to click and navigate towards the middle it won’t move freely just huge jumps. I’ve tried uninstalling and resetting the device multiple times and still have the same issue

JIO DOES NOT WORK well on some devices on the shield it kees kicking off but tv bro works fine ty.and i have heard from others jio is doing the same to them....

The jiopages app doesn't work on nvidia shield. It keeps freezing, lagging, and kicking me out when I try entering the website. Restarting the device did not work.
As I've said to others in this thread, install Aptoide TV through TROYPOINT Toolbox and install Downloader through that.
can not find jio page on google play store on sony Tv
JioPages causes my Shield Pro to freeze whenever I use it. Restarting the Shield doesn't fix the problem. Any other suggestions as JioPages is total crap and doesn't work?
On my shield I installed tv internet browser,works with no issues

The “troypoint/tb” page keeps asking me to verify that Im a human, every time I check the box it returns me to the same security verification checkbox, can’t get out of it. Its just like refreshing the same web page.🤔
Your IP Address must be on the blocklist for our website host. Try turning on a VPN (USA server) and do it it again.
I really appreciate your help bro. After using the VPN I could pass the security page to the tool box page, when I download the App. it stops at 2.41 MG where the full size of the App. is 2.42 MB. I tried to download it many many times, every time I get the same result. 2.41 MB ONLY🫢

Jios didn't work on my shield, constantly froze up and no amount of rebooting/reinstalling fixed it. Finally uninstalled

You need to turn on Unknown Apps for JioPages like I show in the video.

Many don't have the latest version of Downloader. The method above does.

i haven't been able to find downloader in the play store in years lol always got it elsewhere .
That's because you are using a generic Android Box. It isn't available in Play Store on those devices. It has always been available on Android TV / Google TV systems though. There's a difference in Android operating systems. You have the one that is meant for phones and tablets yet the developers use it for their boxes as well.

You must be connecting from outside the United States with a questionable IP address. Turn on Surfshark VPN and try again from a server in the United States.

Yes it is. Click microphone on your Google TV device and say "Open Google Play" then search from there. This is a known bug in Google TV that needs to be fixed.
