GTA Online's Interaction Menu was redesigned for the Chop Shop DLC, obviously with intentions of improving it.
However, I think it is one step forward, a few steps back.
While some of the rearrangements are good in the sub-menus, the main menu feels overly-wordy, hard to quickly identify simple things, and slow to use, as a result.
    For example, replacing:
    "Vehicles" with "Manage Vehicles"
    "Inventory" with "Health and Armor"
When a player clicks on "Vehicles," it's a natural assumption that the section means everything relating to vehicles, including managing it.
It's the same with "Inventory." Armor, health, snacks, magic freaking potions are naturally found in the inventory of nearly all games. There is no need to replace a single word with 3 that describe the same thing or less.
Even replacing "Style" with "Appearance," which is a longer word that takes up twice the visual space in the small menu and has nearly identical meaning.
I think the new menu is the right idea (attempt to improve), but the execution and where it was changed needs more refindment/reversal, preferably from gamers who interact with the game.
If you have an opinion, I'd love to hear it! I welcome all genuine opinion, regardless of point of view.

Everything needs work, GTA broke as soon as kids started playing it.. it’s R rated for a reason.. we should be getting R rated content but because all these kids started playing, rockstar is making money off of them. It’s genuinely pathetic.

Yeah, I hear you on the dislike of making GTA rated PG instead of what it is -- R. While recent new things like Jet/guns/Submarine are excellent, some of the new missions and characters seem rated "FF"....Family-friendly. I find it pretty boring. The original NPC's that we fight against who curse like a parrot are more entertaining and are in-line with what "Grand Theft Auto" is supposed to be, IMO.
I do feel there is room for everyone to play, including teens, but with their understanding that it's a relatively-violent game and not the same genre as Fortnite or similar, which are different styles of game design.
To be realistic, I get that new players bring in new revenue which keeps the game well-funded for new DLC's, as well as generate revenue for GTA 6. So catering towards whatever market that makes the most money is a natural business decision. But it's a fine line between an over-simplified, family-friendly game and what GTA Online sometimes feel. I think it would be a shame for GTA Online to sell its soul, sort of speak, and lose the style/personality that made it popular in the first place.

I'm all for improvement, which usually means either making complete changes or slightly modifying a method that is working -- the goal is improvement. The new menu has some good improvements in the sub-menu that moved a lot of insignificant options (Media player, Radio, etc.) to make finding important things (Ammo, Armor, Snacks) more direct. I think it's awesome.
The issue that bugs me is making changes for reasons that seem more gimmicky, rather than for improvement in function first. For instance, "Register as Boss." The name alone seems a design attempt to either be very literal in description for a completely-unfamiliar audience, or to sound cool and appeal to those who like impressive-sounding, role-play stuff, which is a little gimmicky but still fine. Something like "Organizations" describes the option more accurately with less words in my opinion, but no big deal. The slight issue is the extra step to register for an Organization -- it's now in the sub-menu. Maybe it's to make room for more Organizations in the future or something, so whatever, I got used to it quickly.
The problem I see is the pattern of completely renaming all the popular options with longer words or even phrases that describe nearly the same thing -- Vehicle (old), Manage Vehicle (new). Style (old), Appearance (new), etc.. Maybe it's just me, but I don't see an improvement in function from these changes. The issue it introduces is, now, non-new players see a bunch of different, longer labels for the same options. And the labels aren't quicker/easier to read. So then what's the point...
I would much rather they make a huge change and use "Icons" similar to the phone, but for the Interaction Menu, sort of like a Tablet. If the design goal is better description for all players, new & old, I would argue that a 🚙/👚(Vehicle/Appearance) icon would make it easier for all players to find the option they want.

1 good thing I like new interaction it's easy buy ammo

I also find this to be true. They have removed random things like the Media & Radio, which made no sense to be in "Inventory" in the first place. The layout in the sub-menus are more direct, and the idea of a clean design they are attempting to do so users can quickly find things they use often are spot-on. Like I mentioned in the video and in the description, it's good, I'm all for it. The key idea is easy/fast/direct.
The issue I see that goes against easy/fast/direct are too many words from the main part of the menu. I do see a lot of players find buying ammo faster now from the sub-menu, which is excellent. They should go further and put Ammo at the main menu, instead of being in the sub-menu. And label it, Ammo.
I would make the Interaction Menu Icon-based, instead of Text-based, just like how the phone is. Any new players can use the phone quickly, and anyone should quickly recognize a Car/Submarine/Bullet icon as well.

@@jamesthecool2560 Yeah, good point. Share Cash option (after bonus money) is a useful/friendly feature with friends/other players. I'm guessing they removed it to prevent exploits to give cash to others.

Holy crap dude that's some creepy music

It's sort of a more serious tone video, and I wanted something ambient in the background but not dance music. But the intention isn't to be scary. You can always mute it. I have it low enough that most likely won't hear it except headphone users.

how do i manage cars in the new menu if i dont own them, i cant open titan back doors if i didnt buy it? please answer

    • @RRGTA

The features to open doors and do related stuff are only available for vehicles that we own. For those, they are in "Manage Vehicle." Stuff we don't own, we can't do much to it with the menu unfortunately.
