Like your review style! Good job, though I disagree with your direct comparison with Tamiya. Academy has upped their game, but in terms of quality and engineering, generally speaking Tamiya is one step above Academy. That being said, great review.
It's hard for anyone to compete against a powerhouse like Tamiya; they've been the gold standard for half a century. But in Academy's defense, in recent times, their prices are generally lower than Tamiya. What we give up in overall quality we make up in cost savings. But I think your analysis is spot on.
