Your sled piece looks amazing!! Great job! 🎄Thanks for sharing all the Etsy links. I love your new FlossTube location...always nice to see a piano and plants. You are a wonderful mom, getting the kids out on Wednesdays to learn and enjoy the outdoors. So nice of your sister to make you a quilt for your wedding gift...what a great family you have. All the best from NB!
Hi, your Home for Christmas is beautiful! The stitching and the finish is outstanding! You will enjoy this keepsake for many years! I love your quilt too! Your sister did an amazing job! 🧵✂️🪡
Enjoyed visiting with you today and love your new spot. I also love the beautiful wedding gift 🎁 the quilt is beautiful 🤩 Love your wips you had great progress. Have a wonderful week and happy stitching 😊💗🧵🪡😊
ONLINE LEARNING IS NOT FOR THE WEARY. Hang in there. Good for you for taking back Wednesdays. I never even considered doing that when we were doing virtual school. Happy Anniversary! 👰🏻 🤵🏻. A mother-in-laws friend made us a quilt for our wedding and I still use it to this day! Made to Create is such a cute pattern.
Love your new spot this week! How fun y’all went to the waterfalls- I would have died about that snake but I love how your kiddos were so excited! You are making great progress on Little Women & your sled finish is just wonderful! Thanks for another great FlossTube! 😊
All of your wips are looking so beautiful, you’ve made great progress. I’ve gotten chocolate on a couple pieces before and spot cleaned with a Tide pen and it worked. I know this lockdown stuff is so tiring, but if people stopped spreading the virus, it would end a lot sooner, it’s so frustrating. Thank goodness for stitching and flosstube. I always enjoy your videos and looking forward to your next update. Stay well!
I love your floss tube episodes! That Little Women will be so great. It does not look easy though. My daughter got Little Women, Madame Alexander dolls from her Grandmother, through the years . 8” dolls I think are the dolls. Madame Alexander made other sizes too. We used to put them on our mantle, along with the book, during Christmas. My daughter is a mother with two children now. Hopefully when we go to see them, we’ll bring her dolls. We have not been able to visit for over a year. A six hour drive. Thankful for seeing them on our iPad. Thankful for relaxing by watching floss tube too. I used to cross stitch. Hope floss tube revives my stitching.
So good to see you Kathleen...and you have really been stitching..congratulations on the finish and decision to add the baker’s red and white twine to Home for Christmas and to the attachment to the sled...I love the HOHOHO sign...Happy Anniversary and loved the snuggles quilt your other sister made...the BBD Strawberry Fields Forever...DMC looks great for the floss...hoping the E Learning goes well until the end of school...snake included...😜...wishing you Joy and happy stitching ❤️❤️
Love the Ho Ho Ho finish, with the striped trim.Great job!! Love the quilt and your new filming place in front of the piano. I'm the 83 year old that said that, and i'm still waiting!! LOL Lucky for you i'm in good health...Hahahahaha When i was a young girl i read Little Women and a million other books,as i was an avid reader back then.
Kathleen! How could I forget you name when we have the same one!!! Someone else said they laughed so hard at your comment and that they also hope to see it finished in their lifetime. Glad you are in good health!!!
Oh my gosh!!! Your “Home for Christmas” is gorgeous! You stitched and finished it so beautifully. 🥳 I’m going to start Strawberry Fields Forever for Maynia this month and I can’t wait to start it. Good for you for reclaiming Wednesdays for you and your boys. I homeschooled our 2 sons for 8 years and it was an incredible experience. Getting out of the house and exploring and seeing things in person was a huge part of our schooling. Then the kids become very interested in different subjects/topics and you can do a unit on them (for example, snakes!) we are all meant to be EXCITED about learning and exploring. Have a great week and happy stitching!
I love how you finished "Home for Christmas" - great job and what a family treasure to have out each year! "Strawberry Fields Forever" is gorgeous! I'm so glad you are enjoying it. I thought the New Year's piece from Liz Matthews looked perfect on you fabric choice. Loved hearing your update and seeing everything you are working on and your haul - those stickers were fun! The boys will always remember those Wednesdays you did something special with them. Take care. Have a great week and Happy Stitching!😊❤️
Well first of all, your mother has made a lot of quilts in days gone by!! Jane’s quilt is awesome and she is now having fabric made with her artistic skills! Another great Stitchuation normal!! Love you Kat!!❤️❤️❤️ Happy one year anniversary with this!❤️
Hi! I laughed my tail off about the comment and hoping to live long enough to see the finish... I’m still laughing. 😂😂😂 You HoHoHo sleigh is perfect, I love it! Excellent projects, Kathy Barrick is a favorite of mine too! Hope you have a great week! More adventure walking too!! Love that!!
the candy cane trim is the perfect finishing touch for your home for Christmas piece - i love it. i have had to go and add those stickers to my wish list. x see you soon.
Just a thought on your black and white charts, you can try using colored pencils and shade in the chart with colors you can match or try to match to your floss. It might help with your stitching! Another floss tuber suggested doing that so it may help! Also, the chocolate thing, I do the same e thing! I love chocolate covered raisins, cranberries, ginger, etc. So far, no chocolate on the stitching. Let me know if it comes out. All your projects are wonderful and taking your kids out and about is the best ever! Good thinking mom! Have fun and thanks for sharing with us all!
Enjoyed the video, what a great idea to get the kids out to explore(well except for that SNAKE) yikes. Your have come along way on the Mothers House project, I know how you feel about the spots of color, I joined the Frosted Pumpkin Christmas Wreath and it is the same, 3 colors of green in that wreath stop- start- stop ugh! Oh my goodness the Coming Home for Christmas turned out so cute, I am going to put mine back into my WIP rotation and work on it the 25th of each month. Can't wait to see your next adventure with the kiddos! Happy stitching!
You are a brilliant mom deciding that you need to break up the virtual learning week! Those will be some of the days that your boys remember most!! Your Christmas FFO is fabulous, and I really enjoy all of your projects!
Happy Anniversary!!! Sounds like a great plan taking learning outside one day a week. Is the school year almost over for you? Some schools around here are done next week. I hope you get more vaccines up there. Love the Flosstube stickers. You can record any day you want. Always great to see your stitching.
I bought those same stickers - Liz enabled me! I’m sorry you’re still on lockdown. Here in the the states (Illinois) we’re opening up more. Vaccinated people don’t need to wear masks outdoors, if you’re vaccinated you can meet with other people who are vaccinated, etc. Very scary - maybe too soon? I love that you’re taking Wednesday’s off from school. It’s too much screen time for the kids and tough on you!
