I agree. It irritates me to the point sometimes that on other channels, I have gone to writing comments to these people like, "You can get one if you PAY for it!" Really?! And then there are the sob stories. "Oh, I can't have kids so I would love to have one," (hint hint). Yeah, you can totally get as many reborns as you want--if you want to PAY for them! Ugh!
I think most of those commenting like that are kids. There are the obvious pathetic adults but most are kids under 13 that need to be watched by their parents or have the comments disabled.

I am making my reborn tomorrow and what I'm doing is getting realistic limbs and head, getting a fabric body, poly fil, and small glass beads and then I'm filling the limbs and body and head with small glass beads and filler and attaching them together like you showed me and BAM reborn baby!! (This may not be the "actual way" but Idc it's my opinion of a reborn and I'm EXCITED!)

love this video ive been saving up for my reborn but its so hard to find a good seller as there are so many scary stories on youtube of scams or horrible work for me when i find my reborn it means so much as i can not have a child and i see so much love with all the reborn owners i follow and makes me smile and also sad but watching your vid has made me consider trying to make my own so enjoyed watching thankyou for great vid xxuk xx
Hello, is it easier to remake a baby or start from scratch?
Katrina Dyment I recommend fixing up a baby altogether. It is a bit challenging because your techniques and paint mixing are going to be different than the last artists work that’s on the doll already. However repairing with a paint touch up, fixing the weight in a baby or even a fill in on rooted hair is much less time than start a whole new doll. If you strip the paint, take the doll apart and even pull all the hair out it’s basically like starting from scratch.

How do you get a kit with the full body in it like the limbs the head and a full body and not a cloth body
For a full body it will require you to buy a kit that is made to be full body. When purchasing a kit, look in description or the name of the kit itself. It should say FULL BODY. If it says 3/4 limbs or full limbs that means it’s a doll that requires a cloth body. When you receive a full body kit the doll will come with the normal head, legs, arms and lastly the full torso that will be required for you to paint and put together to finish.

also those tend to be more expensive so if you want you can always buy a belly plate for the doll and some dolls even have back plates

It was used to create shine and to seal paint on lips and nails. I also use it to seal hair such as the eyelashes that i rooted :P

I am making my first reborn (the "Lucy" kit) by the end of next week but am using air-dry paints. Would I just mix my glass & tile medium in with water and paint to make the color I need and instead of heating it do I just let it sit there? Im sooooo nervous...! Do I apply everything in the same order as you do?

Love this tutorial!!! It was pertty healpfull for me !!! I am brasilian and in Brasil the artists use this tecnic: instead of tearing a sponge they take small pieces of the sponge with the tweezers to make the skin of the baby

If I seal in my acrylic paint with a element proof sealant can I use acrylic paint????
You can use normal Genesis matte varnish to seal the paint but you will have to bake the doll if you do. I've never used acrylic paint, this tutorial is only for Genesis only as I have no experience and no knowledge of Using acrylic!
you can use an element proof sealer for acrylic paint, but id recommend a matte one to avoid shine

Its a beginners reborn. Its suppose to be average that is the whole point.
It's a beginners tutorial the way I reborn are my own secret techniques. I really love that you'd like to see my more advanced work but it costs much more money, time, and patience. This tutorial are the basic techniques that I used when I started and made just for beginners so they can start. A lot of people need a place to start first! Thanks for your comment though. Once I get my own studio again and lighting ill make a more advanced tutorial and sell it here on youtube :)

I used earth magnets, I have no knowledge of magnet strength.

I need to know also how to painted so well to make the silicone baby looks real and brought to life , and what are the names of the paintings to use and mix well to bring it to life.and how much does each material cost

Lunaslife riverslife some people just use a regular oven but I prefer a nu wave oven. P.S. I don't use Genesis heat set paints, I use acrylics so this is just off of what some of the professional painters say. I hope this helps

I've seen other videos where the person made the body parts in molds -- do you also make them too? If so, do you have a video on making doll parts ?
That is most likely silicone dolls, here I am making vinyl reborn dolls. Silicones use different tools and paints. Sorry!

Do u just use for the eye lashes just a regular sewing needle? And also do you have to have eye lashes on a reborn or is that optional? Anyways thank you so much this helped me a lot!! Thanks to you I am now painting a reborn! ❤️👍💕
I use felting needles, sewing needles will just poke holes in the vinyl. Eyes lashes are your preference, but it does add a lot of realism.

For the glass pallet the dollar tree has something extremely similar for a dollar .... I have one that I use for paint
