  • This video is about my personal journey and struggle through college and how I overcame all adversity and became a professional basketball player. I didn't want to get into specifics of my experiences for numerous reasons, what's "tea" for ya'll was a real life painful experience for me. I just wanted to share a little bit of what I went through to be a motivation or inspiration to someone else. I do not regret any of my decisions in college because at the end of the day I feel like everything happens for a reason. The hardships and pain I experienced helped make me who I am today and helped me grow in ways I didn't even know I could. I wouldn't wish my bad experiences on my worst enemy, but I hope to one day become a coach so no other woman has to feel what I did.

i relate so much to this LITERALLY everything you explained that you went through in this video through college, i went through the exact same thing. my coach told me to my face that i am not "basketball material" the way that i play is "ghetto" and for the streets! he told me this at a basketball banquet in front of EVERYONE! i was so depressed and got down on myself really bad. (i just emailed you btw )

Mental health isn’t talking about loud enough, especially in sports! I agree, people have opinions about you, but what do they know, you have to live your life, not them. Don’t let others opinions break you down.
    Great video!

You’re welcome! It took some time to heal and grow before I felt comfortable opening up but I just want to inspire others to do the same or to just let them know they aren’t alone

@@TheWhisperFisher it is good to get honest feedback, luckily you were good at things which are hardest to change, learning to play better is easiest part to improve 👍

Such a confusing time, in the moment never understood why things always had to be sooo difficult and so draining despite me doing everything I could right.
