- In today's video, I start tuning the Boost Box on my SRT4. If you aren't familiar with the Boost Box, it lets you configure separate boost levels in each gear. It's from the same company that made the WOT Box, N2MB Racing. I also have a WOT Box but it came DOA used from facebook marketplace, my new one should be here soon. I'l have another video for that.

Why in the instructions does it say to add desired boost levels to the wg spring pressure. ex 10psi spring and you want 15psi you put 5 in for the input. In your video you just inputting the desired boost.
Try a bigger wastegate? Sometimes the exhaust just can't get out of the gate fast enough, so it has to go through the turbo.

I’m in process of tuning my boost box and can’t seem to get it in having problem with it wot it will hit boost and blow off and not hold boost to red line
It can be super confusing. Not to be a dick, but have you downloaded the user guide? It’s pretty thorough.
@@quixilver09 yes I did and I got it with in already installed and I found that the did not have vacuum lines set up like it should be 🤦🏻♂️
Oh yea you gotta put it back to stock essentially.

How does it feel to downgrade from hellcat to project SRT4?
It feels good actually. There are certain things I miss about the Hellcat, but I couldn't really go all out on the Hellcat because I didn't want to risk the warranty being voided. With the SRT I am back in to the tuning, actually driving it (being manual), and it feels better beating things like Hellcats with a "little 4 banger". Having a Hellcat automatically puts you out of so many races that it ends up being a bit boring after a while. I enjoy the tuner scene more.

I'm back in the SRT game after many years. Used to have a piggy back (emanage) but apparently the Syked handheld tuner (and additional software) is the way to go. What are you using for tuning other than boost by gear? ie. Fuel maps, etc. Will something like the Syked work in conjunction with the boost box?
I'm not familiar with Syked. I have a Diablosport intune 2 and I get the logs for my tuners and they email me back.
Says on the n2mb site you can turn the boost box into a wot box by just loading the software, so...

Sorry, I thought I replied to this. They are reliable if they haven't been beat in to the ground which is hard to come by. There are little wiring issues sometimes that can be big headaches, but overall the engine itself is very reliable.
Sorry if this is a noob question ! But at 1:30 when you start doing pulls, I noticed that as soon as you hit second, it pulled dropped back slightly, and then hit boost. Is this what people call “feathering” ?? Sorry again If it’s a noob question lol
That was me trying to control the traction loss, feathering the throttle a bit yes. Keeps it from just pegging redline when the tires go to spinning.

what turbo are you running and your tires and road is making it hard to tune with the boost box
I gotta think back, but I think I had the precision 5731 and R888s on the ACR wheels at that point.

How much hp did it had here?
pump was prolly low 400s, can't remember if I had it tuned on E85 yet at this point
