Stroke patient practicing stairs for the first time using the DST

This patient is recovering from a stroke with right side hemiplegia.
Even though the patient uses a wheelchair, he can still practice stairs at such an early stage of his recovery, thanks to the unique features of the DST. This patient would probably not be able to do this with the traditional stair devices. Be exercising climbing stairs, the patient improves his strength, balance, and coordination.
