Joy, you truly found your rib in Czech Republic, you guys are soul mates. Wow! that food looked delicious, though when preparing "kienyeji" chicken I just boil then later just add my cut tomatoes and onions no oil, no spices. I do this so as to get the real taste of the chicken, that's my style. I love you people, stay blessed. 🇰🇪🇰🇪🇰🇪✌

Joy, if you have ground rice in the shops, you can use it instead of maize flour. I came to England in the seven tees and could not get maize flour so I used ground rise and I still do.
I think the chicken kienyeji may be what we call in London BOILER CHICKEN. This is a hard chicken you can not roast it. I thought I should share this with you wonderful couple.

Boil it and when it's ready.drain the water,pour oil in the same saucpan with the chicken,stir for some 2mins,add onions,stir it to brown,add tomatoes.stir till ready.then add other ingredients.and little of its water that you drained.for soup.

When I was went to Amsterdam I was not so sure and of course I now long to have more. My love is coming back from Europe with dried things I like. NZ 🇳🇿 Very Strict rules. I loved living there and my Dutch love also used to make a full tableful of breakfast too! 🤣😂. It was a shock for a city boy to spend time on a South Pacific island.

We have those chicken in 🇯🇲 too Joy. I believe we call them various things like country fowl, country chicken etc. It does take longer to cook than than store bought chicken but tastes much better.
