- I spent 2 full days in Gyeongju City in South Korea, the “Museum without Walls.” I took the express bus to Gyeongju from Seoul and it was 100% worth it! Lots of things to do, and the views at night are some of the prettiest I’ve seen in South Korea.

How to get to Gyeongju: I took the bus instead of KTX from the Seoul Express Bus Terminal which stops directly downtown at the Gyeongju Intercity Bus Terminal.

Thanks for watching, enjoy your Gyeongju trip!
Saving this for my travel in November. Thank you so much for sharing. By the way, where is this bus station from Seoul located?
It is the Express Bus Terminal subway station. There will be signs to lead you once you step out of the train. Have a great trip!
Hi, thank you for this video, Is it this nice around beginning of December?@@RoseanneDucut
Hi! @@anikaw1947 Sorry I've never been in December!
Have you hung around by car, bus, or on foot? This is my main question about how to move from one site to another! It seems that Donggung Palace and Wolji Pond (for exemp) are more or less outside the city or in a rural area. This is why I'm asking if you could answer me, please?
Miss you Gyeongju.i lived in Gyeongju for 9 year
Whoa that's a long time! I really enjoyed Gyeongju! It's beautiful!
@@RoseanneDucut thats right.Gyeongju is a very beautiful and historic city.
@@RoseanneDucut next, please go for a walk in the shopping center.what is Gyeongju city center like now? I really miss Gyeongju city 🙏🙏🙏
hii can you reccomend which area to stay in gyeongju? thanks for this video!
Hi! I stayed near the main express bus terminal, which was walkable to Hwangnidan-gil road with all the shops, as well as the tombs & observatory
How easy is it to reach all the key sites with public transport? I'm going on a day trip and wondering whether I should go on a tour or go by myself.
The main area is quite walkable. The only area you'd need to take bus is if you're going to the Gyeongju World Amusement park or the Bulguksa temple. But all the main historic sites are walkable
@@RoseanneDucut I see. Thank you so much!
How did you traveling around gyeongju? Is bus foreign-friendly?
I mostly walked around the main area since the main attractions is close to each other. When I did take the bus, it was similar to the bus systems in Seoul and Busan!
Hi! May i know what month was this taken? Planning to visit in 3rd wk of May 🥰
Hi! It was the 3rd week of May lol! It rained one evening but the other days were clear. Enjoy!
@@RoseanneDucut thank you so much!! ❤ great content, btw! Managed to convince my husband to visit Gyeongju 😂
@@MiaAgg_ Thank you!
How did you get around Gyeongju?
Most of downtown is walkable, then to the temple and other areas bus
There's a lot of foreign tourists in Gyeongju including Filipinos/Southeast Asians? Pls answer me
When I went, mostly locals, maybe a few non-Asians
@@RoseanneDucut yeah but the locals there are nice/kind to strangers? I mean because I saw a lot of people said many Asians/non-whites are experiences racism or xenophobia in Korea but I think especially in less touristy areas or less popular areas in Korea like Gyeongju
@@Christian4ever_ I haven`t experienced any unkindness but others experiences can be different, and I am also a lighter-skinned Asian. We also can`t generalize a whole country based on what we see online or expect locals to cater or be over-kind to tourists
@@RoseanneDucut yeah I agree but I know we shouldn't believe whatever we see in the internet and I know some of these people who are said they have a bad experiences in Korea are probably aren't true and they're probably just want demonize/vilified Korea or Koreans hehe
@@RoseanneDucut and if it's all are true but why Korea didn't ban Filipinos/Southeast Asians or any non-Whites to travel in Korea and even some non-Whites are still living or working there despite that a lot of non-Whites being mistreated in Korea or treating the worse than these who are just travelling or visiting there so we shouldn't believe in the internet unless we already visit Korea or any country hehe
Have you been to Seoul? Which one appeals to you more
Many times! They're both quite different!
wow very very nice content many many love you
