She’s 61 now and is still beautiful. Thank GOD she is totally clean now . Even writing this I feel a touch emotional and want to reach out and hug her

It takes a good long while, years, to learn how to be happy without the high. I'm still trying, though I'm clean. Btw, Runaway Horses is my favorite of hers. My favorite song is Summer Rain--didn't catch it when it charted, but discovered upon listening to her CD. Such a bittersweet song.

It looks like Belinda is bit irritated at the way the interviewer kept on asking her questions about her drug use, and I don't blame her. She truly is beautiful beyond belief, a good singer and performer and seems like a very nice person.
I just feel she doesn't like the attention because she's judged by her beauty. She's very embarrassed about her past, she feels judged and you can tell that in her body language, she's fed up having to justify herself but actually, it's refreshing to see a genuine interview with someone who's being very real. I've seen people today talk and claim they had problems when you know they didnt, it's just a fad/trend to make up a past you never had. Belinda is the real deal, as is Drew Barrymire and you can feel and see their regret and the pain, even though its been years since they got clean.
I completely agree. I saw an interview once with Cybill Shepherd and she said when you are someone who’s very attractive, people watch you talk, but often don’t listen to what the person is saying. They’re just focused on the physical attractiveness but not so much on what they are saying. I’m sure that’s more then frustrating when it happens frequently. ✌🏻👍🏻✌🏻

When you come off a high of cocaine for a couple days and then have to come down and then you are obligated to be somewhere at a certain time... it tears you up inside because you have this guilt inside you for getting high and then you have to "pretend" you are ok like in this situation with Belinda. I remember people used to ask me if I was ok when I was in conversation with them. I would have to pretend I was. It's a vicious cycle. I would say to anyone "dont try this at home!"
She really is more beautiful than any pop star I can think of. She would have made a great old Hollywood icon with those epic cheekbones, the eyes, the hair and perfect hairline, like the old time greats (Marlene Dietrich, et al.)
