This song is one of my favorite of all time. They definitely did this justice! 🖤
Really beautiful. Flyleaf has been such a beautiful and simple band. It's really sad that after Lacey (their first vocalist) left they didn't find stability, even though Kirsten (the new and former vocalist) was really good and I loved her album with them *Between the stars*. On the other side, 99% of the bands that have changing vocalists keep getting "hate" or "she's not X" comments, to the point that Kirsten felt like she wasn't really part of the band. I hope we someday have new music from Flyleaf. Their new albums were different but really beautiful
Lacey will always be my queen. She was one of my first crushes. BUT I have to say this is the best version of so I thought. Kirstens voice was really just made for this song specifically. I get goosebumps every time and the end and she hits that note. Truly some great singing.
Well whenever I feel sad about Lacey leaving the band, I just think about how life is. Something might have been "better" in the past but life goes on and things can't stay the same forever. This is the new band. They've grown and changed to something different

Was so disappointed when flyleaf split, I actually worked a show in Tampa and meet all of them when lacey told me she was leaving I told her I hoped she would reconsider because they had a great thing going but I get why she left!!
I skipped into my fave part by accident....oof, I am happy with the memory I have of this song prior to lacey leaving.....I've heard covers but......you know some parts just don't need vibrato.

She's great, but she'll never be Lacey. I saw Flyleaf before they ever even thought about making it, and they were so. damn. good. I miss the originals.
